Y’all really are spoiled but you can thank the artists really cause they’re the ones steadily releasing gems that we obviously have to inform y’all about so bundle up cause each of these records in today’s weekly dip is as cold as it gets!

Wynne - Glass Slipper Flow (Single)

With dominating the hip-hop world throughout the year with freestyles & releases, Wynne has quickly become your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper, especially off the strength of her being as real as possible and lyrically poised with each prestigious effort in each track & verse. She reigns supreme with just being herself and not having to fake anything; it’s one of the highlights we’ve enjoyed seeing from her to become fans of her music. Her latest single, titled “Glass Slipper Flow,” looks to be the coup de grace for 2022, which she capitalizes on by dropping a visual for it that is already securing views in only a few hours of being out. Wynne is already dashing through the record with wit and boastful energy for those that oppose seeing her win. Her flow is prominent when speaking on her glow-up from being underrated to being the next best thing on your mind when it comes to her rapping capabilities; she’s definitely in a lane of her own with how she moves in the tracks with so much ease, the fast lane doesn’t have shit on Wynne who’s darting past competition to see more victory days ahead of her. If you think she’s comfortable where she’s at with the accolades she’s received so far, check back at this time next year to see it double in size with her name being mentioned in Grammy conversation; I’m calling it now. - Frank Campos

Liiito - BUM (Video)

“That Boy” Liiito is back with another one of them ones. The Davies Entertainment alumni has continues to tear the streets up, lyrically, musically & literally cause let me tell you, this latest record here, it’s hotter than tire burn, you can literally smell the rubber popping from the intense heat he’s delivering throughout this number. One thing you need to realize about Liiito, is that he’s not one of them bums. He’s very much about his spread, especially now that he’s no longer scraping together crumbs to satiate his hunger. He continues to rap like he’s still famished, as if he hasn’t attained what he’s set out to quite yet. PsyJack’s production on this record is ominous enough for Liiito to set off his warning shots towards the supposed opposition & the visuals themselves, beautifully shot & edited by Qntm, show Liiito smack dab in his element. Liiito only seems to get better the more he simply lives his life, let alone with each record he pumps out. We can only imagine what his next album is gonna sound like but we’re almost certain it’s gonna be another superb addition to his catalog, being that these singles thus far, even if they don’t wind up on the album, are something so serious & not to be taken lightly.

Andria Rose - Drink Me Like Wine (Lyric Video)

The sultry seductress that is Andria Rose is back with her first release of the year, literally gifting us with another one of those smooth records & you can guarantee, it taste like the finest of wines, whichever you prefer. This record however, is more giddy & playful than a lot of her other more subdued numbers, with her vocals sounding eager as ever as she awaits her lover to come drink her up. You can tell just by how she looks at the person on the receiving end as they pick up the glass she poured for them, almost symbolizing her pouring all her love into their relationship. Her sound continues to be one of the more sexier sounds to come out of the city & if this single is any indicator of what’s to come the new year then we’re in for one hell of a time. This single was well worth the wait since last year’s “Telenovela” EP.

Grace Sorensen - Digits (Video)

More of that R&B/Soul from the gorgeously talented Grace Sorensen. Her music has always had these ethereal feel to it, ever so ephemeral, her vocals fleeting like feelings tend to be. On this number, she’s clearly falling for this person but she knows she can’t stick around but she also knows that she can’t stay away for too long. She doesn’t want him to forget the time they spent together, let alone the digits she gracefully handed over to him. She’s freely & gleefully dancing to the feelings of euphoria their fling has emitted, hoping that they get another chance in the near future. The Magna Carda comes through on the production as well as a verse that only adds more soul to an already soaring vibe.

CVIRO & GXNXVS - Hot Minute (feat. SwaVay) (Video)

C&G are another one of the latest duos to emerge from out the R&B world & boy have they been marking their stamp on it as of late. They recently just dropped a record with the legendary Jon B., & that’s a helluva co-sign, especially considering one of these fellas kinda looks like a reincarnation of the legend. But on their latest, they call upon SwaVay to get this girl to spend a “Hot Minute” with them. The visualizer for this record is as steamy as the record itself, kinda reminds me of that early 2000’s Dance era of Hip Hop. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think you just found a hidden gem from that time period. Just goes to show that they’re old souls. This record is as sexy as it gets!

Elmiene - Why (Spare Me Tears) (Video)

The autumnal setting in this video immediately drew me in, I’m a sucker for this season & man, doesn’t it seem like we’re in a soulful solstice as of late with all the beautiful numbers bleeding out of the R&B/Soul universe? Elmiene is the latest act to hit my radar & his latest record only further cements my love for the genre. The visuals are simplistically soothing as they really help you remain focused on the pain he’s spilling out. I’m sure we’ve all been there with someone we invested so much time in, only for them to eventually remove the mask & reveal their true intentions. Then after the fact, they wanna pretend like they didn’t know their actions would hurt us so bad & wanna twist it to where they’re now the victim but Elmiene ain’t having it. You made your bed girl now sleep in it, clutch your pillow as if it’s him still by your side if you have to cause he ain’t coming back. Save those tears for someone else cause he ain’t drying them for you anymore.

HXRY - Oooh Aah (Video)

Out of the Past Records have just released a new genre & the name is too much for me to say in writing so maybe just peep the visuals to find out the new R&B subgenre. I love when videos get this creative, almost like one of those old Blaxploitation films in its aesthetic & HXRY making the ladies swoon with his sweltering performance, on stage & off & in the bedroom. The people over at the label head over to the Zodiac club to see what all the hubbub is about & seemingly to try to bite this style that has everybody in a trance but unfortunately for them, HXRY has them outnumbered & lost in the trace as well, the head of the label drinking a particularly mysterious elixir that distracts him from the goal at hand. The temperatures are rising with this record!

Young Quicks - The Best Side (Video)

Erick Sermon’s latest co-sign of Young Quicks may be one of the most existing bridges built between the old school & new. There’s a bit of nostalgia to these west coast vibes the duo have provided us with. He really puts on for LA with this record, informing outsiders of what it takes to truly be a part of the culture out here. His rhymes are ever so proficient, even switching between English & Spanish to deliver these bilingual bars. It’s beautiful to see Latinos continue to elevate in this game cause the style they bring to it is often overlooked. But Quicks got all the charisma & bar heavy lyricism, often times conversational to stand out amongst the rest. It indeed wouldn’t be Trap without Mexicans so it’s about time we show them that respect for their contributions to the beautiful genre of Hip Hop, they’ve been killing shit since it’s inception.

Vince Ash - I Need A… (Video)

This record starts on a bit of a peaceful note, with the shimmering sounds in the background, as well as a voicemail from a past fling, damn near pleading with Vince to get his act together or she can continue this no longer but little does she know that, her constant complaining about his character, when really he was just trying to put in that work so the both of them could live a happy life, was really just her ruining his peace cause boy do things take a left turn after this message cuts off. Vince has officially entered his villain era & steps into in ignorant fashion on his latest ode to needing a real baddie, not one who’s consistently nagging at him that he’s not doing enough when she’s the one who’s doing the most. The visuals here are so uniquely edited, he’s like a beast prowling in the darkness.
