Mouse Meets Dawg - FNF Freestyle (Video)
After pressing down their vocals over the FNF beat back in August, Mouse Meets Dawg is now lacing up their lyrical prowess with a visual treatment for their freestyle matching the same caliber as the record. Deemed as the hardest couple of the 210, they back up the title by showcasing not only that they can bring it on the mic but on the viewing as well, which becomes a captivating scenery for new viewers and existing fans to see. Shot by G.O.A.T Farm, he sets up each emcee in their own unique spaces and then involves them together to capitalize on the lethal combination they bring when they form like Ultron. Separately unbeaten and together unstoppable, watch Mouse Meets Dawg on the rise of being the hottest thang smoking in the tone & continue for the upcoming new year.
DowurkDurk - Contrast (Video)
Continuing to drop exclusively with PLXYTV*!, DoWurkDurk ended the month of October with a new visual release titled “Contrast,” which has been expelling emotions in a melancholy tone on the record, making it a more versatile drop for him. Dowurkdurk has found a unique lane for himself, reaching past his last releases to find a new space to roam with his creative side freely. The record does an incredible job of showcasing his skill set while giving you a next look into what the future holds for him, and we can see it’s looking brighter than ever.
Jello Mauri - Thank God (Video)
God works in mysterious ways doesn’t he? Sometimes, what may feel like everything but a blessing, actually turns out to be one in disguise & that is exactly the case with the latest from Jello. As she stated, we’re leaving all toxic bitches behind in 2022, there’s no room for them where we headed. It truly seems to be that way for most, everyone is finally stepping into their own power & taking back control of your life, which is so easy to lose once you’ve been suckered into an abusive relationship with someone. Jello knows more than anybody that, in the moment, we may not understand why this person we loved & invested so much into could do us like that but after a certain interval of time, hopefully, we can step back & take that time to reflect upon the red flags we couldn’t notice at the time cause when you’re so in love, they just starting looking like flags. She is ever so grateful for the almighty for bringing her this awareness cause the road she was headed down with this past partner was only ever one for destruction, she’s far past that now.
Naalah - Karma (Video)
“Karma” is personified even further with the visuals for Naalah’s standout cut from her latest 3 track opus “Paint Me The Villain”. I swear, watching her in these visuals is similar to staring down the barrel of a gun, knowing it’s about to fire off at any given second. Naalah is done with the petty games people try to play on her in hopes to slander her name & is just lurking right around those shadowy corners, waiting for the perfect time to pounce onto them. After being in this industry for quite some time, she’s become privy to all the fugaziness clouding the scene, she finally sees through the smoke being blown her way & is here to smash mirrors as a result. Don’t you just love her gleeful little smile? It’s like she knows those opposed to her are gonna take her bait & unfortunately walk into the death trap she’s set up for them. If only they knew beforehand how bad a bitch karma can be, now they gotta learn the hard way. Josh Stone’s production on here really compliments Naalah’s ominously playful tonality as she taunts & warns those who dare step in her way that, their fate is approaching, sooner than they think.
IGWE AKA - TONY ON THE RADIO (Video)
The latest visuals from IGWE’s latest EP “Super Eagle” are here & man, the intro alone is gonna really resonate with people. I’m sure we’ve all dealt with a scandalous motherfucker in our love lives but for whatever reason, it’s like we’re addicted to that toxic cycle. This seems to be the case with IGWE, he’s out there seemingly building a life for the two of them, meanwhile, she’s using his absence as an excuse to try to replace him & he ain’t having it. But what could he have done about it other than continue to level up & leave that past fling behind, as much as it probably crushes him to do so. He was already dealing with enough so to have her lay her bullshit on top of that, she can’t be here with all that crying shit as if that’s supposed to make him wanna stick around for the games. Assumptions get so in the way of love but it’s okay, you can tell it to Tony whenever his voice comes on the radio cause that’s the only way you’ll be able to connect with him from now on.
GRIP - The F Word (Video)
Don’t you just love profanity? I don’t know about y’all but “The F Word” may be the best of all the cuss words & if you don’t agree well in the words of GRIP, kindly take this “5 & A Fuck You”. GRIP’s seamlessly never faltering lyrical capabilities only continue to shine throughout his stint on Shady Records, arguably one of their best signings in years. He just has this charisma about him & then once he lets those rhymes loose, you start to understand why he’s right at home where he is. There’s not many things that GRIP can say he gives a fuck about in this life but family, fans & music are the main 3 & those are the reasons why he continues to not give a fuck about anything other than. The visuals are simplistically chaotic with the ever changing effects & footage of him right in his element, ripping shit up onstage & off.
The Bashtones - Before I Met You (feat. RoneyBoys) (Video)
The legendary Baby Bash, keeping the oldies or as he words it, the “Souldies” alive with the latest release under the Bashtones & this sweet delight features none other than the RoneyBoys, 3 brothers, singers, crooners that the R&B/Soul world need be paying attention to & not just cause they were discovered by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, although that wouldn’t hurt in you further wishing to dig into their output thus far. The visuals start with the guys, I must say, looking fly as ever, so much so that I’m sure those ladies walking had to fight every urge within themselves to not swoon so hard for them, especially once they start crooning like my GOD! This may be their best single yet, showcasing them as hard workers & then in the night, it’s time to wine & dine in the most fancily romantic ways possible, got the fly suits & luxurious classic vehicles, this the kind of music that’ll make you wanna open doors for women. It’s the perfect blend of new school & oldies.
Sweet Bennie Ray - Whole Lot (Video)
It’s Sweet Bennie Ray, with a flow as viscous as a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s & let’s just say that he completely grilled this new record of his. Opening up with the Glorilla shoutout, Bennie Ray is here to let these bitches know that shit ain’t as sweet as they may think it is. He’s come from so little to attain a “Whole Lot” over his time in the game. When you’ve finally bossed up in this life, you ain’t just gonna continue tolerating the regular, not even in his love life. Nah, to be affiliated with a juggernaut of a hustler that he is, shorty gotta be a go getter as well cause he got no time to be babysitting no broke bitch. Sweet Bennie has only barely scratched the surface of what he’s capable of but he’s well on his way to becoming a tour de force to be reckoned with in this business. Step your game up when dealing with him.
Eastside Fish & Sage - Juve ‘22 (Single)
Hey Sage, what you doing on this shit bro? The same thing he’s always done, supply us with that timeless, classic sound of his. I swear, since Fish became a part of the Tree Team, it’s like no more seeds of doubt have been able to be planted into the minds of consumers, this familial collective is forever growing. Fish may be the most charismatic character we’ve seen emerge from the scene here, with his wit & nonchalant flow, he continues to dominate listeners with his infectious style, channeling his inner Juvenile on his latest ode to the legend. Oooh, they mad huh? Please explain how their feelings towards him should be of any concern to him. That’s right, it’s none of his business as he does he little two step over the graves they’ve dug for themself. Fish feels his the best doing this right now, as he should & anybody who begs to differ, well, we’ll just let the music speak for itself. Who knew a street dude could be this groovy? But don’t get it twisted, he can easily revert back to old tactics if anyone dare try to harm his Tree Team family. Off the previews of this single alone, you knew it was to be an instant fan favorite & that was indeed confirmed when Fish performed this back at the Tree Team experience, which if you missed that, that’s on you.
Qwest - Leeroy Jenkins (feat. Josh Stone) (Single)
If you aren’t familiar with the classic cartoon character, let us explain further. Leeroy is someone who’s here to cause everything to go wrong for everyone else, usually in extraordinary fashion. Now, it’s not like these two wanna have to do that, clearly they just wanna kick back & have a good time but if anyone dare to impede upon that, then he’s striking back with a mighty blow. Qwest has had a lot of “Growing Pains” to endure but at least these experiences made him more aware & more equipped to handle this next chapter in his emotional musical journey. His reflection throughout his verse sets the tone for Josh Stone to persevere through his own turmoil, the two hell bent for leather on this fan favorite of theirs. Be on the lookout for his “Growing Pains” album dropping early December!
