The end of the year is approaching but that doesn’t mean that artists still aren’t making the water rough whenever their tidal waves hit our beaches so make sure to keep yourselves balanced on those surfboards of yours cause things are about to get real wavy in today’s weekly dip!

Asia Kyreé - Tippin’ (Single)

Most known for her heartfelt ballads, Asia Kyree, is back on the scene, except she’s entering with a new sound on her latest single titled “Trippin.” She pulled back the angelic vocals and stepped into the rapping realm as she locked and loaded into the release with such ferocious penmanship that you got to give her props on how’s she curating the wave on this record. She’s piling on heaps of the hotness for this Still Tippin-sample record & keeps it a buck that this isn’t her usual forte but that she can do it all and conquer with ease. She links with Dance Dailey to get the visual out that adds more ass-shaking effects to the hit that will surely see anticipation for her next single as we enter the new year.

Izzy93 - 4:38 (Video)

Izzy’s flow & pen game, not even sure he writes or freestyles but regardless, he continues to get more & more elite with every release. He remains one of the more famished MC’s in the game as of current. Supposed opposition couldn’t stomach such hunger, the man gets up at exactly 4:38 AM every morning & gets straight to devouring. Izzy is about his paper & if you ain’t speaking his language, he ain’t trying to hear what you have to say. Today’s price is not yesterday’s price so, if you’re trying to snag that feat, you better pay his fee & not complain that oh, it’s too much. If you can afford to flaunt it like you really got it like that then prove it, if that Izzy feat is what you really want. He’d most likely smoke you on your own shit anyway. The thing about Izzy is that, he don’t even gotta do all that extra shit most rappers do to garner attention. After all, he made it this far by simply being himself. Take notes youngins! This is the level of grit you should aspire to reach!

Chloe Jobin - Gone (Video)

The second set of visuals to come from her latest “A Different Light” EP finds Chloe not able to stay put in one place for too long, she’s nomadic in that sense, clearly. There’s honestly nothing more freeing than cycling into uncharted territories with the wind at your back. Shot & edited by Christophe Jobin, just to keep things more familial, we get some simplistic yet gorgeous shots of Chloe biking around town, clearing her mind of whatever may be clouding it. The color sucked out of the visuals showcases where her head is at, gone. She’s gonna ride around til she can longer be located, I’m sure we can all relate to wanting to disappear, vanish into thin air the way her fleeting vocals do. People tend to be a bit much too handle most of the time. They may even feel a way after hearing what she has to say but that bird she flips at the end should let you know how unconcerned she is about it, as she should be. As we all should be honestly. Just do you & the reward will be greater.

Krystall Poppin - Livin (Video)

“Livin’” her life like it’s golden indeed. Krystall continues to pop her shit like no other with her latest. Those shots of the tombstones should let you know that, she ain’t looking at No dying years anytime soon, she’s out here not only surviving but thriving. It’s almost like an ode, a vow to continue keeping on cause certainly, it’s what her fallen loved ones would have wanted for her. The Latin representations in these visuals are beautiful to say the least, I mean the fit alone, c’mon. She’s sacrificed a lot for her vision so to see it all come to fruition, you know full well she’s savoring the sweet delicacies that are her fruits of labor. The human condition is to feel pain, it comes from us wanting & never being complacent with where we are in life, always striving for more. Krystall continues to be a force to be reckoned with in this industry & no weapon formed against her will prosper against her weapons, those being her words, her flow & overall character at that.

Mike Dimes - FLEEK (Video)

No cap, Mike Dimes really has been on “Fleek” lately, I mean when’s the last time you heard that term & in a way as sleek as this latest single of his is? It’s insane that he opens up with him hotboxing the tent, stepping out like the fresh alumnus that he is. These dudes ain’t really been out here pushin’ P the way this G has, they a little too PG to bring it unfiltered the way he does. It’s beautiful to see him continue to break through & become a driving force to be reckoned with as he stomps throughout these beats. It’s really light work for him but he still keeps it heavy as can be when it comes to the bar work. You see the very limited few sitting down with him to eat & that’s cause not everybody is as famished as he is, they ain’t starve like he did to get to this point & they certainly haven’t remained famished after finding success. We can only surmise how the following years is gonna be for him but he’s definitely an artist to keep your peepers peeled for!

Willo - Sammie (Video)

Very few rappers have the same level of wit & creativity as Willo. His visuals continue to be some of the most fun experiences you’ll ever lay your eyes on, they’ll be glued to the screen as he continues to entertain & boggle minds with his unique style of rapping. Boys can talk all they want about him but they ain’t really saying anything worth of significance. The only opinion that matters is that of “Sammie” & man is she proud of her grandson for continuing to show them that he’s really that dude. The little mini hims represent how futile their comments against him truly are, even the folks, once they finally take notice are like, what the heck? There’s no limit you can put on him cause he’s gonna cross it regardless so make no mistake when it comes to this trippy little crumb, he’s only gonna continue to become who he set out to be.

Malaynah - Jump Off by Lil Kim (Remix) (Video)

Where my fellow Malynah Mafia members at!? If you must know, France Mayari sent me here & I gotta tell you, I instantly became part of the tribe after hearing how effortlessly elite this young lady spits, I mean her flows just tear through these beats, whether old or new but very few can do the classics justice as she has with this latest homage to the great Lil Kim. Do y’all know if the Queen has heard this yet cause if not, we definitely gotta spam her with it cause Malaynah is no fucking slouch when it comes to the lyricism. She just has that gritty edge to her & the Kim influence is clear as day.  2 minutes of this lethal MC ripping through her rhymes like it’s nothing cause it isn’t. I pray she makes this a regular thing cause after the YG “Toxic” remix, I personally would love to see her continue to pop her shit off & prove how easily she can rap circles around your favorites like parentheses.

King Iso - R.A.P. (feat. Tech N9ne & X-Raided) (Video)

Fuck all that shit that they talking, these gentlemen are the real psychos of this rap industry. Iso was rapping about mental health, coupled with that 5150 shit before a lot of these dudes were claiming that they really psychotic like that. I mean, the dude was actually in the mental ward for a time. Strange Music is well known for their hardcore posse cuts so you know Tech was excited to hop on this one. It’s a shame that it’s too bar heavy for some to handle but it’s also beautiful to see them continue to just do their own thing cause fuck the rest, they on bullshit! The pill bottles dangling like they microphones is such a delightful twist on that trope! X-Raided as well continues to get technicians excited for what’s to come of him with his Strange Music debut. Over 3 decades in the game & Tech N9ne still killing shit & signing other lyrical murderers like Iso, who also produced this joint. The funny thing is, this song almost didn’t even come out but thank God it found a home on his latest “8PM Med Call” EP! Strange Music ya bwihs!
