Brooklyn Michelle - Facade (EP)

After returning from hiatus with her latest single, “The Girl Not To Worry About,” Brooklyn Michelle followed up the release with an announcement that the record would be joining three additional tracks to form an EP titled “Facade.” Along with the news, she shared the cover art, a masterpiece on its own, sharing the many emotional reactions that Brooklyn faces daily, where some involve laughter, hurt, and a smile to hold everything back, not to see the true feeling she’s holding in. Brooklyn has offered a lot of her creativity in her projects and singles, with this latest EP being a considerable leap to sharing more versatility in her range, making it a wholesome listening experience to enjoy over and over again.

The intro record is the only track to have a feature on it as Jitta On the Track accompanies Brooklyn for “They Don’t Get It,” where the blissful production Carrie’s over so graciously. At the same time, these two souls toss in a carefree attitude where the feeling is infectious, especially having you grooving while the record is spinning. There are a lot of notable moments in the track. Still, I’m singling out Brooklyn’s Spanish addition to the mix, which came as a surprise, and trabajo bien hecho to her in creating a sensational record that I can see many attendees on the dance floor moving their feet to it. The electric feeling of her next record, “Coulda Shoulda Woulda,” is intense right out the gate, where Brooklyn channels her inner Prince and gets to calling out that used to be love interest that attempts to rekindle the feelings they had, but it’s too late is gone now. You had the option of making her your special lady, but time got away from you, and now it’s too late. While you reminisce about what could’ve been, act like you have some damn sense and know these consequences have caught up to you. Now, Brooklyn is living her best life without you, and it pains you to see it. That’s two for in catchy choruses for EP, and her follow up record “The Girl Not To Worry About” is already a fan-favorite due to its prior release and visual to tag along with its success. It fits comfortably along the previous tracks where no skips are warranted; you can play this album numerous times and always get a rush of immerse feeling. Her outro record titled “Flight To Nowhere” is opened up with this guitar that catapults the essence to the heavens and glides you through the sky with the remaining instruments following. Brooklyn takes you on a trip with no destination, the ability to be lost without any problems weighing you down, no need to know the next stop, and don’t care for it if it doesn’t ever. Brooklyn astonished us with these four records, and you might think because it’s short it’s easy to do so, but I tell you even 15-16 tracks project couldn’t even hold a light to Brooklyn’s EP. Her project is your own little getaway, your paradise to feel like a stress reliever. It’s your escape from the rigorous thoughts you have and the emotional baggage that you carry daily that are uplifted in the 13 minutes you have with this project. Even after you have this massive amount of clarity that makes your day moving forward end with positivity, no more negativity energy to console you, Brooklyn has created audio therapy to keep you focused and inspired at the same time.

Brooklyn celebrated the EP’s release with an honorary party where the footage showcased the fun she had that night, along with the attendees present for the evening. She made something special with this project, and we couldn’t be more happy for her success. We highly recommend, if you haven’t had a chance to check out her EP yet, that you do it today and share it around on all social media avenues.
