Jedi512 & Ghost/\/Ghoul - Iso (EP)
Linking with Ghost/\/Ghoul for his latest three-track EP titled “Iso,” Jedi512 is testing the waters on the record, where he pushes more of his versatility style in each. It also becomes a tricky situation to pick out your favorite among the trio, but it showcases that anything he drops is bound to catch your attention and keep it there. He’s conscious with the flow and doesn’t spit bullshit; it’s all about life’s faults, and he doesn’t sugarcoat its ugly truths.
The project begins with “Fresh,” which is already sounding tough due to the synthetic production; then comes Jedi512 explaining a day in the life of his grind while expressing his storytelling ability to construct a chorus to the titular character named after the song where it follows him through to a peril situation with an egregious ending, that closes out the track. It’s a standout joint far from being closed in the box; expect the two remaining tracks to be in similar positions. Again the production paves the way for a smooth intro before Jedi512 applies pressure here on “Pat 2:21,” where he sits back with his demons discussing the things that make him tick and what direction his crash course has sent him spiraling in. This record resides in a deep thought where he opens up his mind to put yourself in his shoes, dealing with the problems that could crumble an average person; you can see Jedi512 lives with an unbearing amount of stress while his past trauma leads him to pick up everything back up and put it all together again. It’s another highlighted record forming nicely with its predecessor on the project, and the third & final tracks doesn’t fall short in confirming his prestigious state. The root of all evil and the breaking point to any business relationship, “Money Is Power,” and Jedi512 explains the treacherous reasons behind it. Seeing good friends turn to snakes and support turn to profit all leads back to the dead presidents, no matter how you spin it. Jedi512 continues to put himself on the topic of the discussion mentioning his dilemma regarding the cash flow, attempting to prevent things from happening to instead being placed in the forefront and labeled otherwise. He asks if the loot is really worth the score. He’s seen too many buried and gone ever to think that money is really the answer to all our questions. Stay strapped up but only to guard your wealth because they head-hunting artists that think they are untouchable, and sadly they aren’t. In just three tracks, Jedi512 delivered storytelling, vivid imagery & prominent wordplay, which you won’t get in most artists' full-length projects. This says more of his talent than it does everyone else, respect the grind and hustle and watch him flourish; this the year for Jedi512 to show off why he’s deserved to be recognized.
Within the few days of the EP being out, Jedi512 also had time to drop a visual to his record “Pat 2:21,” another example of his creativity on display. No, telling what’s next, but best believe we’re behind it with support as we recommend y’all do the same.
