Before the new year got started, I had just gotten introduced to Texas songstress TEARS by way of her latest single titled “Diamantes,” in which her sultry vocals spice up the effervescent production to get the temperature heating up in this ballad. The vibes transition to the viewing of the release, in which you can feel the sweat leaving your forehead within seconds of watching the pyretic visual. She speaks on the finer things, like the enjoyment of jewels around her neck and wrist, along with the dead presidents stacked up like the heels she wears. She gleams with the lifestyle of luxury and fame, name-dropping her favorite designer products that she laces upon herself, feeling the comfort of being glamorous whenever she wants.
Showered with lavish accessories and designer affections; she wants to glow like the diamonds you possess so you can show her off when she’s in your presence. TEARS clinch at the position of being the apple of your eye; she is mannered to be your subsequent love interest and wants you to witness her beauty in all its glory. TEARS vocals are so zesty & stunning; she has a bit of seductiveness to her tone while still spilling mystery in her words. She’s filled with zealous energy throughout the record in speaking on the opulence of her designer garments; it follows through elegantly to the visual that has TEARS showing off her alluring nature, and I wouldn’t be doing the review justice if I didn’t mention the highlighted pole scene in the video, which is a captivating shot to show both beauty & artistry at the same time. It’s undoubtedly a hit that can be heard in a multicultural manner where all ages and genres can enjoy it in a diverse space and be moved to sing and groove anytime it plays.
The release was dropped back in September of last year, but I couldn’t let it go another day without getting some words to it. I thought it was an excellent opportunity to have our viewership be introduced to her music and get her fan base growing more.
