Camilla Covington feat Lilly Aviana - backspacebackspace (Single)

While taking a well-respectable break from social media, Lilly Aviana appeared on our timeline this week to promote a recent single she was featured on with Camilla Covington titled “backspacebackspace.” The angelic vocals from both songstresses are heard so divinely that it’s combined with their elegancy to reign supreme in this beautiful heartbreak ballad. The cover art has both women flaunting out their captivating selves like a work of art and a visual to go along with the release that gives us a live look into them performing the single in such an intimate & personal setting.

Singing out their hearts, both ladies describe being on the opposite end of a heartbreaking relationship. I loved how Camilla begins her verse so vibrant in tone while saying everything on her mind & writing it down. It’s a letter to the person who hurt her the most. You take her time for granted while coming in & out late at night with people you all hate to be around. Start packing your bags and quit with the excuses; she’s not hearing it anymore. She’s rolling up the pack with your name on it and getting ready to lit it, but before she does, she’ll let Lilly take it from here. Coming out like the goddess she is, Lilly bares her soul out on the record by explaining that she isn’t the type of girl to be trifled with or disrespected in no manner. Your first mistake came when you didn’t think you could be replaced, yet you were wrong to believe that, so now you got to deal with the consequences. Men like you who don’t appreciate the good women you have ain’t shit, just wasting precious time for them to find true love while you're running around in the streets acting foolish. It’s one of the most definite releases this month so far, and I’m sure it will be seeing more eyes & ears to it during the weekend.

We became introduced to Camilla on her “Sum Lacey” release a while back, and of course we’ve been fans of Lilly for years now. It’s always exciting to see two women of this unique caliber combine forces for a release, and I’m hoping more collaborations like this are in the works for the future. In the meantime, we’ll enjoy what we have in this latest treat while we hope all of you continue to show support & share it around on all social media avenues.
