jC Tranquility - Keep It Proper (Single)

It’s beautiful to see jC finally step into her own as an artist & with her “No Love Lost” project well underway, she finally hit us with the 1st taste of what she’s been cooking up for this record with “Keep It Proper”. I for one couldn’t be happier to see this, jC has been a personal inspiration from afar, just another beautiful soul, a kindred spirit if you will, she just exuded good energy & not to mention, she has the perfect voice for this music, it’s real delicate, like a rose petal softly landing on a satin pillow. I believe her tonality really adds to the vulnerability she’s so fearless in showing as she gracefully free falls throughout this record, despite the possibility of no one down below willing to catch her. 

Isn’t it amazing the amount of shade that comes your way once you begin to shine like the star you are? Especially if you’re a woman, there’s just something intimidating about a woman bossing up that really exposes the weak but if any of them are trying to be acquainted in any way, they best keep it proper if her name is to be in their mouth. She could let it phase her & I’m sure to some degree, it can be bothersome but she ultimately chooses to dismiss it cause she knows she always kept it proper with them so, what love is lost there, none. She understands it’s all part of God’s plan so she’s allowing him to guide her throughout this test of life & it’s safe to say she’s definitely succeeding in that.

If it was really all love then they would have no problem showing it but people still have this mentality that if it ain’t them then it can’t be nobody making it happen. It’s always a risk creating music & I’m sure she probably had, at least a few people in her ear trying to convince her how bad an idea they think it is that she’s pursuing music to the fullest but she chooses to only concern herself with those who really believe in her capabilities, who support her no matter the endeavor. She’s locked in & will only continue to prosper throughout our music scene, being that she’s already an important figure within this creative community of ours & this single will surely hold us over until we get to hear her debut project, which, if this is how we’re starting, we’ll just let the music speak for itself.
