Chris Patrick - Up Now (Single)

After having a frenzied feast in 2021 with release single including his highly-acclaimed album “From The Heart Vol.2”, Chris Patrick is back at it again with his first single for 2022 titled “Up Now.” He expresses the come up in his journey thinking about the days he could only dream about. He was tired of seeing the bottom day in & day out, so he made plays that got him reaching the top. While you slept at night, he stayed awake, turning a possibility. It’s triumphant content like this that helps dreamers like myself stay inspired, ring in the champion sound for Chris Patrick to soon over his listeners in this jubilant ballad. 

The record's first half explains the fearful woes that artists battle, thinking that the time they put in could all be a waste. As long as he has his people with him, Chris can’t go back to his old life, dreams of making them rich while people pray for his downfall; he overcame these obstacles to be up now. He dashed across in the middle of the record with this flared-up flow that explains his roads to riches from being the underdog to now sitting on top with his team becoming too dawgs in their creative fields. The video displays Chris Patrick shadowed in by darkness with his lyrics below to capture this track’s essence, and why he goes so hard in every joint he drops. So many days he & his people endure where they deserve to see the bands before they go, it’s sentimental meaning that Chris does care for the people around during his come up. While success is knocking at his door, he isn’t answering unless his team is with him. 

What a way to start the new year for Chris Patrick; I’m hoping a follow-up project to his 2021 album will surface in the year, and maybe even a CXR collaborative album will be in the works if it’s not already. The future holds many possibilities, but for now we’re good with this release until the following one surfaces.
