If you don’t know then don’t act like you do cause very few know how to set the tone like T & his latest collaboration with the Texas legend Liveola is a gargantuan of a record. Two heavyweights swinging their nuts over this monstrosity of a beat like fucking wrecking balls, destroying anything in their respective paths. If you’re from San Antonio, then you’re aware of Liveola & if not, then don’t claim you really tapped in like that cause Big Live been putting in work since you were in the womb. It’s beautiful to see that he’s still tapped in with the young gunners, especially the fellow elites like SETTHETONE-T, bridging that gap between old & new generations. It’s without a doubt, a milestone for T as I’m sure he’s been looking up to the OG. I’m curious what advice he may have given him to further his career but whatever it is, you know he’s heeded it.

Liveola just has this presence about himself when you hear him on a record, he has that deep gruff in his voice that only further adds to the colossal nature of this record. The production on this record damn near sounds like the heavens falling, you can almost call this ghetto gospel & the bars supplied by both God tier MC’s over it is enough to make the angels weep! Supplied by none other than AnwanBeats, whom you may recognize from the JawCollective, responsible for things like JAWfest & the JAWsessions. He knew what he was doing allowing these two to let their presence reign supremely over it, their dark portentous clouds just looming over the heathens. If you ain’t believe in them up until this point, then you’ll quickly be on your knees repenting that as they unleash their penance upon you.

SETTHETONE has had a monumental 2022. One album, two EP’s & a slew of singles & still, he hasn’t even scratched the surface of what he’s capable of. If you’re familiar with his work then you’re aware of how much of a rapping machine this man is. Not only does he have bars for days but clearly, he’s continuously proven that he can rap with the best of them, holding his own no matter who he’s beside on a record. His verse on this record will have all the Hip Hop heads dissecting his lyricism down to the science that it is. When it comes to the technical skill, very few can touch his pen. We don’t know what 2023 has in store for us in terms of T but he’s forever on that incline if he keeps going at the rate he’s been going.
