Doeman feat Southside Hoodlum - Soul Different (Video)

The second collaboration of the year from Doeman & Southside Hoodlum was released just days after Doeman’s prominent album “Brown Soul,” He decided to give track eight off the project the visual treatment. “Soul Different” when these two slide in the booth to create magic putting on for their Hispanic heritage and Texas all in one breath. The harmonious sample transition to the Dirty South rhythm provided by Big Tex Johnny captivates this joint off first listen, and now with Ace The Shooter on the lens, you are bound to see all that flourish nature come to life.

Doeman chops up his own rendition of legendary Texas lines and mixes it together for the record's chorus. Deep in the trenches of Southside San Antonio, Doeman is picking apart the production with steady ease like he’s grain gripping the whip swanging through opps that attempt to barrier his lane. Ain’t no need for plexing since Doeman is built different, the heart of a warrior with his barrio on his back you're destined to hear greatness come out his vocal accords to show you he’s about his. The flow is kicked back on the 5th wheel sticking out the scene while his drop-top demeanor sits nice riding to the beat. Hoodlum sips slowly on the beat like his words were dipped in lean; he’s applying heavy pressure right out the gate with making sure you hear his roar loud and clear when addressing his name. The scenery is familiar since this is the home of many Hoodlum’a videos, but to see Doeman posted on the block shows this collab is built off more than music but in brotherhood.

Doeman sees success continue to rise for his latest album; he’s already completed seeing his city of Houston go up with support to recently invading San Antonio at Hi-Tones with support still following. He’ll be finishing up his promo tour with Austin being up next, then lastly with him hitting the main stage at Rolling Loud in NY. Doeman has many things working for the future, including being featured on Revolt's “One Week Notice” series with episode one out now, so be on the lookout for that and make sure you put someone new on to his album today.
