AwkwardLowlife - Incinerate (Video)

AwkwardLowlife has been on a tear lately, still capitalizing off his latest opus, "Incinerate," & blesses us with what is inarguably his best visual treatment yet! The single in & of itself was such a pleasure to hear upon the release of this album cause it was only with his "Hot Box" record off the previous album "Wrong Life" did we get a glimpse of just what he was capable of doing in the Pop Punk realm. He's at the forefront of the resurgence of that early 2000's Alternative sound, so it's more than welcome that we get to hear him delve even deeper into that style cause his whole aesthetic just screams how much he was meant to dabble into this genre fully. This release help usher in plenty more visuals along with a new EP to follow shortly.

There's no point in imploding alone; instead of wasting time, why not just incinerate together? He's sorry he couldn't be enough for you at the time, but he did try his best to make everything work, to keep everything cordial. He'll be damned if he takes the blame for things you put yourself through. Let it be known that you don't have to suffer alone, but if he's nothing but a distraction for you, then he isn't coming home. Still, he has to believe somewhere deep down, you need him as much as he needs you & if that's the case, then let's see what reaction comes of two lightning bolts striking at once.

This video can also be seen as an ode to his supporters, who get some excellent cameos in the footage he put together from one of his recent live shows. I still personally need to see him live cause it looks too lit, this is a guy who exudes everything it means to be a rockstar & I'm touched that he's able to be on a level playing field emotionally with his listeners. Many of whom probably feel the same way he feels, who lives vicariously through the pain he puts on wax. PLAYTV really captured something special with these visuals; Awk Low is just so comfortable in his element, whether that just be boarding it up in a parking lot, trashing his hotel room, or tearing the stage up. Hell, I even think he's in what looks like a strip club; he came here for one thing & one thing only & that's to rock out, so let's incinerate with him in this quick burst of energy.
