Adam René - Grown (Single)

Oh, how much we all have “Grown,” Adam certainly has from his “Congratulations” days. If you’ve been a listener since then, maybe you’re one from even before then; it’s been a long time coming. I must say, I have never seen this man more liberated than he is now in this juncture in his career, as well as his personal life, a married man, a father to be, a son of Christ. His faith has always been sprinkled in little hints throughout his music, but now it’s completely taken over & it’s beautiful cause you can tell he’s very much at peace with himself in these records. He’s been through Hell, but the outcome is too heavenly not to embrace it as much as he is; he’s grown.

Can we talk about how underrated he is when he’s rapping? I swear, I’ve always admired his skills in that area, he’s done so on multiple records, but his performance here really blows those out of the holy water. These rhymes are “holy, holy, holy, holy,” & that’s exactly what he brings to the town. As he says & as is known by those who know him, he reflects on a time when his heart was cold, but the focal point is this moment now in time. He’s hot now cause he’s been following the sun or the Son; if you will, his wordplay is godly, nothing evil will be infiltrating his life, his peace will ward off any negativity that may come his way.

God is not done with Adam; he has many more blessings for this righteous brother. I love that we get to see the things he truly cherishes in his life within this video, his daughter, his wife, even Whataburger cause; what’s more Texas than that. Our Wavez brothers behind these visuals as well, this whole rollout actually & I just love seeing these three back in action; Club Galleria meets Saint Clubhouse; now that’s an idea anybody should be able to get behind. Who knows what else these three have in store for us, let alone what God has in store for us? Adam has always been someone I look to as an example cause he never ceases to lead by it; keep spreading the good word, my friend!
