Kri$p - 7AM Freestyle (Video)

The paciness of this record is giving me mad anxiety, so thanks for that Kri$p, an artist who I'm just now getting familiar with. Not the kind of guy I was expecting to be rapping like this; I almost thought it was B-Real for a second; please take that as a compliment cause he's clearly "Insane in the Brain" to be rapping like this. It's like he's hardly stopping to catch his breath like he's late to somewhere he needs to be, his lines to are just one after the other, he said something about smoking on something while he fuck, call that a wooden buzz, that's very peculiar wordplay.

He'd much rather eat than spend money at the club, letting you know that he really does this rap shit. He's on an empty stomach, so you know how pissed it is when he offers himself some food only to zip down his stairs to find it gone, so what's his solution? To go on the hunt for more grub, he can then devour & regurgitate back at the competition in the form of a rhyme. I mean, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so you know once he gets that in him, his bars are about to be mighty healthy. Hell, he doesn't even need to be hungry to stuff his face with this beat.

I love how these visuals are edited; you can tell he was having a blast filming all this; his flow is as Kri$p as they come & with that weapon, he's yielding. He might turn you into one of those donuts sitting in his Dunkin box, a jelly-filled one at that, wash you down with some coffee & then shit you back out eventually; I don't mean to be so graphic. Still, he really is about ready to feast on the competition; he woke up starving but let's be honest, the competition doesn't get enough meat on them to satiate his hunger. If anything, they're merely appetizers, as is this little freestyle, but it's enough to let you know what he's going to do once a full course meal is placed in front of him.
