Tren$etta - Reflection Interlude (Video)
I feel like only certain artists do these soul samples justice & we can now add Tren$etta to that list after hearing the intro to his latest EP, “Time Heals All Wounds,” which is just under 12 minutes of this same introspection. A highly recommended listen for all lovers of beautiful music. Still, the main focus here is in the music video for the intro titled “Reflection,” where we find Tren taking a hard look into the rearview mirror, reflecting on past mistakes & people he’s had to leave behind to get his own mind correct. He noticed that none of it was good for him & decided to move accordingly, the right people in his ear telling him he’s off to so much more potential than he once never allowed himself to tap into, but it’s never too late to do so.
People love to judge once you start to do for yourself, you’ll find that, in order for you to grow, you’ll have to cut out a lot of deadwood you once kept around & that doesn’t necessarily mean the love isn’t there, it very much could still be the case but from afar & while some people can understand this more than others & support you regardless, others will have such a hard time with that & begin to project their insecurities & jealousy onto you. Still, it’s better not to let it distract you from what’s really important; that’s only a reflection of themselves as if it’s hard for them to understand the want for change when things just aren’t going as you planned.
I think anybody can relate to that; Tren was once that stubborn kid who marched to the beat of his own drum. I mean, he still does, but he’s much more open to the advice others have given him & shall continue to give him. But, unfortunately, he wasn’t always willing to heed what he was being told & that’s most of us when we’re young, especially if we come from nothing & get our hands on some easy money. We all got greed in us & we tend to overindulge; we don’t mean to be gluttons, but it’s only natural. So, although he does miss his past, he’s entirely focused on the future, leading by example by simply speaking his truth; there’s always more to life than what we’re accustomed to.
