KiddKill - Boss Shit (Video)
I swear KiddKill has this hyena-like presence about him. It's like I have to tread lightly with these tracks cause he just continues to snarl so viciously with them & if you know him, you know full well that when Cub$cout is on the beat, it's going to get ripped to shreds once Kill comes through slicing the right chords within with each bar. He rhymes with such ferocity & velocity; it's very pacy, each line almost whizzing right by you like bullets. It's grazing your ears little by little till no cartilage is left & it only takes him, not even 2 minutes, to completely dismantle the competition with his raspy & bouncy flow.
As far as KiddKill is concerned, the only actual loss he's ever taken is when he lost his best friend, posing the question of, have you ever lost something dear to you? Cause if not, then you shouldn't be running around, attaching the misnomer of "Boss" across your chest like a Superman symbol. A loss like that will have anybody walking through this world lost, but I love that he acknowledges these things cause they've only shaped him into the boss he is today. He's still bossing up with every step he takes, let alone record he makes & I also love that he repeats those lines cause you can hear the pain in the cracks in his voice as he delivers then keeps it pushing, wasting zero time in between bars.
The contrasting feelings he puts on display are so tangible; he misses the old days & says his boy would still be here, but he doesn't miss his old ways cause without them, he wouldn't be here right now. Still, he keeps that protection on him; you never know what may come your way. Demons are constantly mysteriously maneuvering their way into your life. Still, Kidd dares one to come his way & once again, the double entendres keep coming with his brilliant usage of "pipe down." The imagery he paints with his words, envisioning himself as a dog being sicced on the instrumental & ends this TeoShotThis directed visual with one last shout to his fallen friend, vowing to continue bossing up in his honor.
