Grown man rap is what I like to hear cause of all the wisdom that we are giving. You know his children are heeding everything he’s saying, he’s leading by example & it’s beautiful to see. I’m not sure I’ve seen many videos where the artist is just chilling with their children; it makes this record all the more inspiring. He’s just having fun with it & showing his kids that they could do whatever they put their mind to; he certainly did & now look, he got his kid singing on the hook. That’s beautiful to hear & the kid is killing it, too though I’m sure he whooped them in whatever game they were playing.

I love the play on words with the song title; obviously, the words he’s writing down in his notebook are a goldmine, but he calls it “GoalMine” like, these are his goals, what he hopes to achieve the more he continues to push his pen. Producer Kuddiefresh is offering him the perfect bed to layout these lessons; if he could help at least one person with his wisdom, then his job is done. He’s not here to brag or boast; he’s here to teach the youth from his own experience. He’s a leader in every which way, shape, or form but the kind of leader whom you know you can always learn from in life.

I had never heard SameDfrnc give a track like this with so much emotion, but it is the kind of record you’d want to start with jumping into the rest of his catalog. His pen is swift & his flow is just so sinuous, very conversational & he articulates himself just so well; his lessons are hidden under jargon. They’re right there to grasp if you have the ear for paying attention; the rhymes are pretty abstract, though, so it may take some time to heed every little thing. That’s what’s so good about artists; he put the work into the craft, you can revisit a record like this & discover something new each time & we thank SameDfrnc for that, keep the lessons coming!
