xBValentine & Kap G - No Saint (Single)

Have the good girls gone bad, or has xBValentine never been "No Saint." She calls on Kap G to hopefully answer this question in a very atmospheric record, her 1st of the year & certainly not her last. She never claimed to be the idea you may have had of who she is; she can only be herself & offer what she's capable of offering. Both of them playing the significant other, she's calling out his toxicity & he's doing the same. They both have been colliding for too long, so something has to give eventually, but hopefully, they can find their way back to one another.

There's something about her that he can't get enough of something about him she can't get enough of; both of them are clearly madly in love with one another, but how long can they deal with the fact that maybe they should just be friends if they can never seem to get along as a normal couple should. Still, I don't think it means they don't love each other. When you meet someone that you can at least halfway tolerate, you've found the right one & clearly, they both accomplished that, but as to how long it can keep going on like this. I can only surmise.

I had never heard of Valentine before this, but this was a fitting first impression; I, of course, did my research after diving into this number & it turns out, she's been delivering these melodically melancholic tunes for quite some time now. With a few single & an album under her belt, I'd say she's prepping for another one & after hearing all of what she has to offer. I can honestly say I'm excited for what's to come from her in the near future; for now, let's get lost in this atmosphere she & Kap are floating around in.
