Jason-X - Ye Shrug (Single)

Augusta's multifaceted talent in JASON-X is back with his fourth single thus far, his first of the year & the follow-up to last year's sparkling "Crystalz." He does everything himself, so you know, an artist who has such complete autonomy will crank out some intriguing music & that he does, which continues to bless our ears with his avant-garde; left of the field yet easily digestible style. His flow is very conversational over the subtleties of this boom bap-tinged trunk music; he's just too fly with his lyricism coupled with his ever-changing production style. All he has to offer to that is a "Ye Shrug."

When you're doing something, somebody somewhere will have something to say, usually out of jealousy cause either they want what you have or simply don't want you to have what you have. Even sometimes out of spite cause you're too busy making moves to be left unproductive with life, respectfully. Jason-X will not sit around worrying about the next man; he is the next man that everyone's worrying about, but what can he really say or do other than what he's been saying & doing? It all comes with the territory.

JASON-X has slowly been inching his way into various speakers throughout his time. He's clearly building up to something special, possibly an EP at the very least this year, even if it's merely another single, we're all here for promising talent & he's an artist that has managed to have far exceeded any expectations I may have had. Even if subconsciously, upon going into this in just a matter of 4 records, you just know someone's special when what they do just sounds different from what's around it, I just hope he continues to surprise those tuned in as well with these curveballs.
