Pinkplata - No Tengo x To Te Aviso (Video)

The infatuating infectious Pinkplata is back with her very first music video, so it's only right that she make it a double feature, taking two of, ironically my personal favorite records of hers, "NO TENGO" from 2019's "YA VOLÓ" EP & "Yo Te Aviso," two records which I honestly have played back to back, so it's great to see her do the same here as both flow seamlessly into one another & shot by none other than San Antonio native Clutch Hopkins who only adds to the excitement.

What strikes me the most is how beautiful music is just felt, regardless of the language barriers. When the music is this good, you don't even notice that she's breaking them down. You just feel the passion in her melodies as you sway back & forth to the impeccable rhythmic skills. I'm curious about where they shot this at cause the colors of the scenery just make her stand out more as if her beauty wasn't already noticeable, she knows this & can feel herself without being in your face about it.

The second part of the visuals is a complete switch up from the previous, opening up with Pink phoning her flame the location where they can meet up. She needs a little company, searching for this individual's whereabouts in a house of mirrors with dollar signs, purple hearted diamonds & cosmic sparkles raining down on them. None of these things compare to this person she just wants to be around & they finally find each other & couldn't be happier about it. You can just feel the chemistry between the two when you see it & all I have left to say is, what a helluva debut music video. Clutch & pinkplata are an understated duo; it's always elegance when these two come together. Just revisit "MARIPOSA" if you don't know what I'm talking about & wait for more of these luscious textures she's sure to keep delivering.
