Kayyroe - LMK (Let Me Know) (Single)

It's starting to look like one of my favorites in Kayyroe Da Don, who's beginning to release music more frequently throughout the year. With her previous single "Down," getting fans of hers excited for what's to come & she wastes no time in satiate their cravings on "LMK (Let Me Know)." A fiery ode to just keeping it straight with someone, nobody has the time or patience for these mind games people try to run on you.

Is you down, or what is the question Kayyroe is posing? It's one thing to talk that talk, but can you walk that walk. Can you get back up when push comes to shove & not project your pitfalls onto her, as if she too isn't suffering in her own silence whenever she's alone. We all have problems, but it's how you react to those problems that determine whether people want to be surrounded by your energy. It's a lesson I've undoubtedly had to learn, being that Kayyroe is speaking directly to men like me & I'm not mad about it at all; put me in my place.

Even if you aren't the kind of man she's talking about, Kayyroe isn't anything to play with, so you can't help but be submissive. She's like a lyrical dominatrix here to strike more fear into men & women alike, putting the sad in sadistic & if you cross her, it can get real sadomasochistic. However, you won't be getting a so-called "happy ending," you might just get cut, much to her pleasure cause she's as bloodthirsty as they come.
