Mibbs - Joy (Single)
In the middle of October, LA native & 1/3 of the prominent trio Pac Div, Mibbs, released a new joint titled “Joy.” It’s a heartfelt single that pushes all the world's negative energy in a corner space while Mibbs soul vents out on a conscious journey to explain how wealth put in the right hands could help the people from starvation. The knowledge we consume is a crucial key to making the place we call earth move at an exciting pace for the next generation to see growth. This track isn’t your usual trap shit that the radio spews out, but an enlightened record, so keep the speakers up at high volume because what he’s preaching is all factual.
Back by a fervent piano melody, Mibbs begins explaining how the tribulations of the world’s ups & down start creating chaos, and while some are harder to cope with, we must not forget the joy. These are the highlighted moments in our lives we cherish by getting us through the bad times and the harsh days. The start of the record feels like a heartbeat just pumping blood trying to kickstart back to life, so once the chorus hits, you rise back up, remember those good thoughts, and your back to yourself once again. Mibbs translates this emotion very well throughout the song by making his verses as slick as the production with harmony in the chorus keeping the tempo so smooth that it ends with a sentimental moment to keep your mind at peace & your soul feeling full of tranquility.
Mibbs hasn’t lost his touch one bit; he’s as passionate in music since his “Church League Champion” days to now; expect to hear more joyous sounds like this on his anticipated project “House & Garden” with no release date yet but could be something to appear at the start of the new year. I love to see artists that made me the hip-hop enthusiast I am today continue to make music; blessings to Mibbs & his team. Be sure to check out the single here while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
