On his 1st drop of the year, Bobby Trill calls on BIGC & Alex Katz to channel their inner "Goonies." All three MC's eating the beat up like Chunk would do to literally anything he could get his grubby little paws on & the way they regurgitate all of it up is nasty like a Sloth & Mama Fratelli love child, but despite my references to the film let alone their obvious homage to the cinematic classic, the shit they do is no movie, this is real (reel) life.

"Dimwitted when I crack your light," it's lines like that which just immediately draw me in & I hope you're losing your mind like I did when I heard it. That's ridiculous, like, you have to be an elite thinker to come up with some concise yet simply brilliant wordplay. Personally, that line alone would smoke most rappers, like crack rock inhalation from a light bulb; that's how dope he is at this rap shit. Let's just hope you're Ecosmart enough to not be in his light cause you don't want to hear the LED pop.

BIGC & Alek only further add to the record's lyrical intensity, so many one-liners like that one mentioned up there. Still, they come at you so swiftly. You may find yourself trying to bob & weave from every blow cause it's just so much to catch, making for even more listens to catch everything, which is something Bobby's music will always have you doing. Let's just hope he has more doses to administer in this new year, already off to a strong start, hungry like Sloth & the competition is a Baby Ruth.
