Adrilla - Magic (Single)

An unexpected release from Frito Gang emcee Adrilla surfaced yesterday evening, and you'd think it was "Magic" the way this record appeared abruptly. Especially since the Primo-produce single followed shortly with a visual shot & directed by LA creative Julian Burgueño that immediately gave this benevolent drop the praise and support it deserves.

Start your car and rev your engines, we're hitting the streets for a late-night cruise, and just like it states before the beat hits, we're going to bounce. The chorus is pitched high with scatters of Adrilla's standard tone in the track's background, with his mesmerizing vocal drastic charge entering the single's hook. It's transferring over to his verses as it expands deeper into a realm of relaxation during your coasting listening experience. Primo is cooking up the production with Adrilla providing the batter and the dish is sounding sweet. Just listen in, and you can hear Adrilla expand his thoughts in melodic raps that sound like he's disoriented in the way he's living. Adrilla is holding his breath to see if he can awaken from this state, yet because he's off the grid with no recollection of time moving, he's enjoying the peace for now. He's not entirely off the deep end, but he's been close before, and he's willing to slumber in some of his vices to feel something at the end of the day. Adrilla is advertently shifting through different emotions in the track, and this would be a first for him to hear the breakdown of how his newfound concept is fitting gracefully with his musical surge. The chorus is sunken back at the record's climax, giving you a more salubrious feeling to hear the upscale balance of his poised formation expanding out a wider reach. Abracadabra presto, and like that's you've uncovered this hidden gem that Adrilla has revealed to begin his rally of something big on the come up, and this may be the first part of a significant move in the works.

This single would be the first solo release from Adrilla since his 2018 project "Perfectamundo," so who knows; this single could be gearing up for his sophomore album or maybe just something to gift his listeners to until he's on to the next thing in his music resume. Until more is announced, we'll be sure to continue running up both the track & visual, in which we hope you all will do the same.
