Josh Stone - Love Song (Single)
Josh Stone had a helluva 2020; consistency was the name of his game, in terms of singles, with "Love Song" being a wonderfully triumphant & subtly anthemic ode to his love for this game he's playing. A game that he isn't giving up anytime soon & you can hear that in his written testimonial here, reflective & introspective yet, his skill's nimbleness is not sacrificed whatsoever.
He said, "how the hell my freestyles better than my songs," indicating that this may just be indeed a freestyle & if that's the case, then that's very impressive cause I couldn't tell until he said that line. That's a skill, to have this much substance in one record & it was all off the top & even better, it doesn't even sound like it is, that has to be commended, it's impossible to not cheer him on after that fact.
Josh's legacy was definitely written in 'Stone' in his past life & his current life. It's carving itself out; in other words, his music is speaking for itself & if any of these singles eventually lead to a debut. Be it an album or an EP, we'll be right on it cause great MC's as we know, are few & far between. He's just stone cold when it comes to his nonchalant flow; I wouldn't take that for granted (granite).
