FrankHaveMercy - Electric Heaven (Album)
FrankHaveMercy already took us through "The Process of Loving an Artist," an excellent ode of a debut to learning how to appreciate these artists for who they are & what they bring to the table. Still, now, a year later, a lot of shocks has been coursing throughout his veins as he tries to continue elevating to the seventh heaven in a higher plateau on the circuit breaking "Electric Heaven," an electrifyingly breathtaking sophomore effort.
The heavens are immediately falling on the title track, a powerful anecdote to him holding accountability for his mistakes and fighting off the outside forces that are pulling him further & further into the abyss. Unjustifiably so but, that's just the devil out to get him, rendering him "Hopeless" for he's giving too many "Chances" to this person only for them to continue neglecting his love & trust. Instead of spreading "Rumors," forcing him to be a "Runaway" with a new person who he hopes will "Never Change" up on him cause he's too "Good For You" and if you allow him to show you just how he can be that.
Please have mercy on Frank & don't force any more "Heartbreak" onto him than he has already endured. He wishes "On A Star" for somebody who will be faithfully down, "Don't Trip" if he seems to have his fair skepticisms & most importantly, don't remind him of "Those Nights" he wished he could get away from someone who sucked the soul out of him. Still, he gets it back at the end of the day, exchanging his "Tears For Fears," facing what terrifies him head-on & allowing that vulnerability to shine brightly on one out of body experience of a spiritual journey this album indeed is.
