Rocky Banks - Money N Power (Video)
After teasing us last week with the preview of his upcoming "'Money N Power" visual, Rocky Banks had followed the teaser with a two-track EP titled "The 2 Pc Special." It had the audio of "Money N Power" on it and another track titled "Mojo." which gave us two insane joints to hold us over for the video to surface. This EP grew the anticipation for the full visual released to high expectations. Days after the EP had dropped, we got to see the Trent Owens-directed visual that becomes an instant cinematic masterpiece in musical form.
Taking inspiration from Todd Philips's Joker Movie, Rocky Banks turns that frown upside and unleashes chaos in the streets while diverging into his eccentric style by letting off verses with gunplay raps and his melodic draw to shift the record to exciting heights. He's not here to keep the peace or be at a truce with you, kick and back spray for any opps opposing his decree and if it went over your head, then he shoots it underhand. Money & Power is what he's looking for in the outcome, and while the drought is happening, he's hoping for a money shower to wipe away the blues, but if he has to carry the stick in the meantime to get his stacks up, then so be it. The impressive shots create a sinister tone to have Rocky Banks being reflected as the clown prince of Crime. He has scenes that mirror Joaquin Phonex's Joker along with paying homage to Heath Ledger's Joker with him riding around in the backseat of the whip with his torso out the window seeing the city in pure destruction. The Leekik-produce hit is making waves on the net with Trent Owens's ability to construct a viewing for Rocky Banks to play his own Joker character. He did a fantastic job of portraying the Jester of Genocide for this visual release that deserves to be recognized and the vicious style of lyricism he provides to the persona.
I'm sure it was much fun creating this behind the scenes, and seeing the feedback it's getting so far shows that hard work does pay off in the end. I'm projecting this latest visual for Rocky Banks to see at least 5K views before the year is up, so if you haven't seen the video yet, be sure to do so here while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
