1.9.9.9 - On The Run (Album)

More of that Memphis influenced horrorcore atmospheres, if you didn't know any better, you could assume this is a hidden gem from back in the day, but there's still some modernism inside on it on tracks like "Streets," 1.9.9.9. giving Berrymane a beat whose bass oozes out the speakers like blood spillage on the concrete, just hitting the ground running from the jump!

"Cold Blooded," sounding like demons relentlessly rising from up underneath your feet & pulling you down without hesitation. The whispery, shoegazey undertones make it all the more dreamily nightmarish, like you blacked out during a murder spree on the Dem Franchise Boyz flip "White Tee," blood splattered all over it, damn near soaked in it, all this to get to the "Bandz" but something's gotta give at some point.

Whether you prefer the soulful, throwback vibes on "Pass Me That Junt," the bombs away explosiveness of "War Time." The daunting Indian flutes on the minimalist trap of "Clout," his many renditions of classic records, there's a lot just to sit back, vibe to, possibly write to, spark one up & get lost in the vast array of soundscapes, all banging.
