Mélat - Affection (Video)

Continuing to embrace her 2019 album “After All: Episode One,” Mélat released another visual off the project: her outro titled “Affection,” a fan-favorite single and a personal favorite of the wavez. The video layout for this viewing has Mélat sharing the beauty of her body by giving insights on her personal struggle of insecurities and not being able to feel comfortable discussing it. She helps build this visual representation to share confidence in those with similar insecurities and hopes this helps relieve the stress of it that you can feel comfortable with your features and embrace the self-love nourishment of it one day.

With the incredible intro, Mélat shows off her beach attire while looking fabulous as ever as she dishes in about an intimate moment with someone special. As the days progress, things start to move quickly in motion where she is wanting to slow down since she is giving something that many men wish to have but can’t get: her undying love. She wants to share it with that person that will provide her with the world and treat her with the utmost respect, yet she is needing the intimacy that will have sparks flying, the cosmos twirling, and the skies lighting up with the connection they bring together for that one moment in time. The melodic attention that Melat brings out in the track set off the Pha-produce hit to create a soundscape with the chorus and the rhythmic nature of it all that gives the track its unique flavor.

Mélat has seen an array of successes during the pandemic, not slowing her momentum down. She is doing a social distancing performance on Saturday in Austin that I hope to see listeners in attendance for the event.
