An unlucky date was made Lucki by Heard Presents & Empire in Austin
Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day. Still, thanks to eminent promotion company Heard Presents & Austin's famed venue Empire, they changed that narrative by having Chicago native & headliner Lucki, who made waves for another night on his "Almost There" tour. The experience was unforgettable from start to finish, where openers Pasto Flacco & Tone Royal delivered a substantial performance and made it an auspicious night to those in attendance no matter the date of the event.
We even got to chop it up with Tone Royal after his set since we were familiar with his resume & the success he's been on but had not done the proper introduction. His performance was spectacular, where he interacted heavily with the crowd and gave a piece of every genre to his performance. His band was curated with humble creatives full of talent with DJ Casual, Daddy Nat on guitar & Poopie Sanchez on drums that all did their part in bringing out an amazing 45-minute showing. Tone Royal, during our conversation, stated, "The feeling is surreal, seeing the people come out through all this, which is a testament to the Austin community who still want to see music done in a live setting." He even praised Empire's contribution in making sure attendee's health is their number one concern.
Before ending our convo, he let us know that he will be performing again next month, so be on the lookout for that announcement coming soon in the next few weeks. The next opener, Pasto Flacco, performed with charisma on high; he was excited to be in the capital city, putting on a great set for everyone to notice and sharing a great deal of unreleased content. Last but not least, Lucki came out with the crowd roaring in the excitement in which he did not disappoint in turning up the stage at Empire to another successful trip in his tour that's continuing to sell out and seeing featured guests show up at some of the stops. Be sure to peep some of the photos ThatKidCarter & Frnkwvz did during their recap and make sure not to miss a Lucki show in the future.
