Krystall Poppin feat AKTHESAVIOR - Baby Blue (Single)
Krystall Poppin had an insane 2023 with accolades upon accolades to show that KP is on fire, and you think starting the new year, she would want a break from keeping her stilettos on necks. Still, nope, she’s right back at it on day one of 2024 with a new single featuring AKTHESAVIOR titled “Baby Blue.” To have fun with her latest drop, she had her fans choose the cover art for the record, and I think they chose wisely, which gives it a bit of mystic vibes to enter into the single and enjoy the outcome. Booming out the speakers, Krystall Poppin is on echelon levels with the raps, which are secured nicely all over the production, floating with ease with AKTHESAVIOR to do his own thing on prepping up the record with amplitude in his lyrical arsenal to conclude with such a fiery send-off where more collaboration from the two is now warranted. The visual released simultaneously is creative with an artistic drive and shows both rap stars in definite harmony that viewers will witness on the first watch and enjoy many times after.
AJ Bray - Stuck In Your Situation (Single)
While 2023 only saw one single & a feature from AJ Bray, it doesn’t mean he didn’t stay productive since, right at the start of the new year, he dropped a new ballad out of nowhere titled “Stuck In Your Situation,” which shows it had something in the works planned, and 2024 might be that time to see another suave release. It’s shaping to be AJ Bray weather with his melodic crooning swooning over listeners and having our creative director ThatKidCarter laced the visual to a fitting tone of someone on the stage of being the guy to take care of you when your man is not around. Still, darling, you don’t have to continue to be in the same routine. Remove yourself from his hands and hop in AJ Bray’s to be treated as you deserve. Don’t just let him be the person you only need when the drinks are cold and the weed is burning. There’s much more of him to go around, so step into his presence and be amazed. AJ Bray has something special on his hand with this record, and we hope a follow-up to it is near.
Tiva Fox - Romp (Video)
Right at the start of the year, I became infatuated with rapstress Tiva Fox when I came across her single “Magic Stick,” which amplified the mood of the 2003 hit to fit a more modern twist, making it a stunning performance where it turned me into an instant fan of hers. I hated that the single was found late since it would’ve been a great introduction to her music on the site, but surprisingly, I got the chance to post another record of us I enjoyed much more. She recently dropped the visual to her September single “Romp,” which is an infectious bop that will have you twerking your rump and keep your head bobbing. Rapping and looking fine in the process, Tiva Fox is giving Ice Spice a run for her money, designer wordplay with the cash on her mind, and her appeal for the finer things comes to life when she starts spitting. Her flow is energetic & bounces off the beat nicely, fitting to be perfect for any situation involving a crowd. She has become one of our top 5 artists to pay attention to in the new year. Trust us, and guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Laux The Rapstar - Laux (Single)
We got an early listen to Laux The Rapstar's first single of 2024, titled “Laux,” which we enjoyed immensely, and to see the masses taking in the same sentiment on its recent release, we know the year is looking to be huge for Laux. Pulling the Project Pat sample up on the intro, Laux stomps around on the beat by throwing her name in the chorus infectiously to have listeners excite the record while it’s playing. Boastful with energy colliding with her lyricism got her standing on business with talking that talk to showcase her position as someone you need to pay close attention to this year. She’s fire with the flow and unstoppable with force that once you get hooked to her sound, there isn’t no turning back and why would you, when you got the best thing out coming for the top and more.
MsGold - LVL Up (Single)
One of the hardest working artists out of Texas, MsGold, continues to show why her passion for this music shit is on a different level than her peers. Her first release of 2024, titled “LVL Up,” has her approaching her R&B bag to show how much she has sacrificed to get where she’s currently in her career. Y’all think this shit happens overnight, but it comes with patience and dedication. Seeing her start to her present, we know she has done a lot to overcome obstacles. MsGold has intense excitement in her tone to realize she’s not the same person she was last year; she also has pain there, too, since no one can relate to having to deal with the overwhelming emotions of living your life and being an artists to her fans with consistency being a factor to her workload. It can take a toll on your psyche, and sometimes, the best way to vent is to let the world hear it. I don’t think we’ve heard MsGold be this open before and we can say thank you for sharing more of your heart with us. It’s going to be a year of gold; best believe it.
P KILLA - Lame B****s (Video)
While on the road performing alongside Deebaby on tour, PKilla is seen in the cut looking heavenly as usual, with her attention towards the “Lame B****s” in her direction, yapping their gums, wanting to be in her position. The Austin baddie can be seen in her signature performance wear standing on business, showcasing exactly why the haters love to keep her name in their mouths. Luxurious looking and splendid with the raps, don’t ever think her spot is for the taking because even on your good days, you still couldn’t outdo PKilla. She spits with venom in her tone on occasions when the haters have attempted to cause stress on her, and instead, their plan becomes futile and sad in the end. She’s gleaming like the diamonds around her neck, and with the “Never Gon’ End” artist in the background, you know her future is looking bright, like the presence she brings. I’m sure Pkilla has a lot more to showcase throughout the year, so stay tuned in to her socials and stay updated with her progress.
J Bookout & Cris Waters - Alone At The Party pt 2 (Video)
In their first collaboration of 2024, J Bookout & Cris Waters linked on the Clefgod-produced single “Alone At The Party pt 2,” where both crooners proceed to bleed their emotion out of the production to give you the thoughts that go through their minds when the vices are circulating through their bodies. The prison in their mind withholds bars not to let them through, yet they find room to escape briefly. Deep thoughts go back and forth while seeing the result of an untimely end; both artists seek something better to get them out of their dwelling situations. Seeing loved ones look down upon them, thinking, are they doing the best to make them proud, they give the honest side of an artist struggling with themselves, something that can be hidden easily but not a battle won so much. Cris & J are continuing their streak with these releases going beyond creativity to see new heights begin to be made for them to see their talents strive to the top at the start of the new year.
