Southside Hoodlum & Maxo Kream - Outside (Video)
While Maxo Kream was out in San Antonio earlier in the month, Southside Hoodlum had the opportunity to shoot a visual to his collaborative record with him that was accompanied by Ace The Shooter behind the lens. He delivered a series of menacing shots to the street rallied record "Outside" with production on the usual prestigious level presented by Big Tex Johnny & CJ Stephens. In Hoodlum fashion, we catch both star-studded artists posted on the block in an ice cream truck with the love and support of the masses in attendance, dripped in Persona with stacks on deck as the whips in the video starting skirting across the pavement.
Grillz, skills, and purple spills fall upon the pad when Hoodlum starts the record with such velocity. He's been outside before the pandemic, and he's outside after lockdown creating a bandemic. Hold up, Hold Up, he's got the pole starting down the target line for those trespassing around these parts. It's the Southside, and there is no need to announce himself; the whole neighborhood knows it's Hoodlum when he's walking on the pavement floors in his signature demeanor. It's just him and his toolie riding around keeping the peace while the clientele stays booming, so you know the sales are zooming. Flourish with the codeine charisma to stay chill on ice while spitting the street gospel; Southside Hoodlum didn't come to play just like his dominant feature on the track, Maxo Kream. Letting the drum start spraying, Maxo Kream doesn't take any prisoners when he starts spitting, creating chaos with his rhymes. At this point, Maxo is just bullying the beat and taking the loot in the process, then moving on to the next. The fastest hands in hip-hop are part of the most skilled emcee behind the mic, it's no question about it, but I do love when Maxo makes the haters weak when he lets the flow go off in records like these.
San Antonio & Houston came together on this joint that's heating up faster than a junkie's spoon. Big Tex Johnny stated that he had been waiting for this release to drop, so I'm glad for it to see the light of day finally. No news yet where this track might end up, but we know Hoodlum has another project in the works, so it could be seen there. We'll have to wait and see but until then, be sure to continue running up the views on the visual and share it around on all social media avenues.
