Reagan Capaci - Don't Recommend (Single)
Yesterday evening, I was introduced to Las Vegas songstress Reagan Capaci by way of her latest single, "Don't Recommend." This ballad instantly became a favorite release of the week since it's built on a delivery of such heavenly essence executed well by the exuberant vocals by Reagan. It's telling the tale of a relationship amid a downfall and not knowing if she has the strength to pick it back up and start over again. Her emotions are rooted in the record, and I enjoy to hear an artist reflect their feelings in their music, and this is right here is the epitome of that core value.
Mind racing with the fear of losing that special someone in a relationship that's starting to lose its feel. Could it have been something she said, was there a way out before this before & could anything have prevented this from going this route. Many thoughts come to mind, but it's better to deal with them now and not dwell in the past. She is stricken with heartbreak already and doesn't recommend anyone else to go through this despairing moment. She's witnessed the good, the bad, and here comes the ugly, but yet she fights to keep not knowing that the other side of it all does this person want the same, or are they just taking the loss. Her vivid construction of the record really puts you in her place to have this relatable source of content reflect what she's going to at this time. She needs this to make sense before she falls off the deep end, and there no turning back once she makes her decision. The production on the record helps capture every word given in the record. She sways so close to each build-up of the beat that it relaxes her ambiance while having her vent out to the atmosphere for the masses to hear her roar and pain in the same wavelength.
I can't stress enough how much this record made me feel; it was such a delightful listen since the vocals held such a prestigious element. Of course, the relatable factor played a part in making this track a solid gem to replay over repeatedly. I will keep my eyes very close to this artist as we hope you all do the same so get familiar with Reagan Capaci here by checking out her recent single and sharing it around on all social media avenues.
