Quentin Heartz - downfall (Video)

Introduced to us by our creative director & Club Galleria founder, ThatKidCarter, who had put us on to artist Quentin Heartz through his most recent video titled “downfall,” which is a beautifully sung ballad combined with an aesthetically pleasing visual to go along with its release. The vaporwave-inspired single was released back in Nov 2020, and since then, Quentin has supplied a great deal of content to his catalog with now seizing an opportunity to have the fame record see more of a presence with a new set of fans.

Your love is all he needs, so baby, why don’t you come to him, please? Quinten explains that no one deserved to be alone, and while he dreams of this come to fruition of you in his arms, he knows this might be his downfall. He knows the love they have might be doubtful for them at this time in their life. I love the essence of the visual so much, especially since you can see the reflection of the track in it. He’s neutering the egg & tomato in his fridge to remain fresh for consumption, but unfortunately, they each meet their demise towards the end, which is what is words translate to in the melancholy tone. Creating a soundscape of emotions then delivery it in a visual format to pick up each feeling and mood is insane, which is why I’m so drawn into it. He devises a way to be creative and inspiring while still showcasing his prominent talents in one signature release. I’m pretty taken back by how great this all came together to give you such a well-articulated piece to enjoy over and over again.

I’ve had the chance to pursue Quentin’s music, and he definitely has a diverse style where some of it might be more eccentric than others, but at the end of the day, it’s the music he wants to gift to the world, and I love seeing that.
