Cameron Cartee feat K Shiday & Yung Ralph - Walked In (Single)
Earlier this week, we saw that our hometown hero, K Shiday, previewed an exotic look on her IG of an upcoming release that she mentioned would be dropping very soon. It wasn't long after that the preview she shared was part of a visual to a single she was featured on with producer Cameron Cartee. Now I'm going, to be honest; I walked into this record off the strength of K Shiday being featured on the record since I'm not too familiar with Cameron Cartee & Yung Ralph. Still, I can tell you it didn't take long for that to change since the introduction to both on this recent release titled "Walked In" definitely had us vibing to the insanity of this record that we know will be a hit in due time.
Looking like money when he walks in, Yung Ralph speaks about his time out as a youngin with small weaponry tuck on him to now being the boss you see before him with a whole arsenal on deck Ain't nothing change but the times he's put in and the status he humbly reigns in. He's still the realest, you know, and still keeps a stack of dead presidents in his pockets to continue flooding out the bank. His tone with the wordplays is stricken with such savagery that you can hear the countless hours of doing work out in the concrete jungles off each line given in to the listeners. Cameron Cartee's production is sinister to the touch; he balances out a heavy trap-sounding beat and has it changed up, going nicely with each artist's style of choice when spitting. K Shiday wastes no time walking out the beat with the expectation of wanting a hood dude with the mentality of moving enormous weight. She is lethal with the flow, with each line dancing like the diamonds in the Johnny Dang chain she possesses. All these homicidal bars, while looking pristine and sensual in her fit, has her matching ideally with the way she raps: flawless & fatal. Such an incredible delivery that both artists show out in and, of course, the production being essential in bringing a hit to both of these artist's respected catalogs.
Now I don't know if this is maybe a single meant to be on a compilation of records that Cameron Cartee has planned for, but if this is any indication of what he's bringing to the table, then I need to find a way to be present at its next feast. Be sure to check out the latest release here while sharing both the single & visual on all social media platforms.
