Arizé - GFI (Go For It) (Single)
In late January, we received the latest single from Arizé titled “GFI (Go For It),” which is already receiving support & praise in familiar spaces, including seeing a surge of new fans absorbing the enriched sound delivered here. The record gives you a glimpse of the come-up journey that Arizé has been on with days of struggles, dealing with adversity yet knowing it will all lead to something greater. The single was released simultaneously with a visual directed by Fedya Vinkovetsky to have you explore more of the record in a viewing state and see some of Arizé’s vivid imagery come to life.
Putting his struggles in the passenger seat while riding around Ubering in the Tezel area, Arizé is surviving on a dollar and a dream. While his schedule is piling on with things he can’t seem to make up, like being on time for classes, he still hears the roars of his peers telling him to go for it. It’s cemented in his psyche that this is the life that chose him, and while he had some doubt, he can’t let his dreams go that easy. From the potholes on the route in the concrete jungles of SA to the heat wave in Atlanta, Arizé takes us through a trip into his usual routine of driving through the neighborhood on the grind with his rearview mirror showing the finest garments and the lavish lifestyle of designer things that are easily obtained. It’s what pushes his mentality to be in a safe position with money instead of it being a reason to struggle. Arizé s words of passion brightly shine throughout the release; he knows the closer he gets to his goal, things will change for the better. He didn’t find the shortcut like most did. He worked until his means were at arm's length and grabbed what he deserved to see his future become brighter than the past. Arizé reflects on this moment in the visual, seen in the cut with his friends, reminiscing about these events that will eventually be discussed once he hits the big times. Starting from the bottom to end up at the peak, Arizé is miles ahead in his career, with just a few more feet to move to where he wants to be.
Arizé is enjoying the aftermath of the single, which is looking to hit the 1K mark pretty soon on the visual. I’m sure there will be a lot more in store to enjoy from Arizé throughout the year, and we even saw his name on the upcoming YouMade4It showcase at SXSW this year. Hence, if you're becoming a new fan of the single, then I recommend being in the front row to see this track and more perform in a live setting. Best believe we’ll be out there in hopes of hearing something upcoming new joints and showing our support.
