Wynne - Jaw Morant (Single)
Portland's own Wynne released her anticipated single "Jaw Morant" at the end of last week, with her seeing the most plays in one day, an achievement she continues to break with each passing record. Wynne has been an unstoppable force with the record receiving praise in only a few days, she originally shared a teaser of the single which got her major looks; she's on to a new week with a lot more well-deserved support and attention that will surely come in tenfolds in no time.
"I don't give him brain; I give him wisdom."
Mirror on the wall, who's the baddest of them all? Wynne is the answer by a long shot, and the chorus explicitly explains why. He calls her Morant because nobody is fucking with her jaw, and she stands proud of her oral ability being that it's incredible, like the all-star point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies. Another provocative joint from Wynne where she excels in sexual appeal to her rhymes defining her bedroom antics; it's comical in a sense but a sure way to heat the temperature up, especially with the turnout of her DMs whenever she gets to telling that she’s
"on my knees, he's an atheist, I give him reason to believe."
Her wit with the innuendoes is what makes her a unique lyricist. Instead of putting the dirty deed out there, she teases the listeners with a hint of seductiveness and prominent lyricism, giving you a female who strides with charm and ostentatious. Wynne is making a statement in the record; she doesn't just want the looks but the respect for her rhymes. She boasts gracefully in her record,
"He's breaking down in front of me like he's on Genius"
is the best flex so far the year; Wynne dazzles in being herself to the T especially when you haven’t seen a female like her before, she's not afraid to show off and be more skillfully talented than your favorite rapper, she killing EVERYBODY out here, her grind is immaculate and so far clutched than any rapper we've seen out here with no disrespect. Still, we got to give credit where it's due, and I will die on that hill to say otherwise.
While there's no official video yet, Wynne has been sharing previews of what could be or possibly just for the release only for now. Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if she got Ja Morant to make a cameo in the official visual or even has him acknowledge the record, but who knows? It can happen, and if it does, I want you to come back to the review to tell us we told you so. We highly recommend you check out the record here while sharing it on social media platforms.
