Intre - Throwaway Burners, Vol. 3 (Album)

It had been about two years since the second entry of Intreago’s “Throwaway Burners” series was released where his presence felt missed, but we knew something was brewing on his end; where when the timing was right, we knew we see him begin to surface back up again. His long-awaited return happened in Autumn with an announcement mentioning that a third appearance of his “Throwaway Burners” series was approaching and began being heavily promoted by multiple media outlets here in the city to see his return met with much attention. From then, he started sharing cover art, production & feature credits, and not long after, the album was out and met with a ton of praise. He was backed by production from the likes of Mazi, Mark Russ, QTheGodd, DJ Protege & more, roughhousing a collage of menacing sounds to their range to construct a series of cataclysmic records to follow with lyrical destruction that Intre brings in his raps. Alongside him, in his journey with features including Heem, Southside Hoodlum, IQ, Tink & more, he aligns the assembled titans to witness his takeover back to the place he once reigned to begin a new era designed by his unique vision.

This is not your standard underground project here; Intre is blending the essence of the golden age of hip-hop with a modern touch. The combination of storytelling and a devious lyrical approach adds depth to his repertoire throughout the project. From the treacherous sounds of the piano keys in his intro record “Liberator” to his cocked back and spray mentality on the Cig Burna-featured track “Free For All,” Intre rallies around with a darkened tone in these latest joints showcases a nuanced journey through hunger and a relentless drive for more almost like he’s feeding through the raps with anger. Still, it’s much more than that; it’s where he’s met his desired feast, but he still wants more to feed on. He lets the immersive production ride along in the background, contributing to the raw authenticity the streets deserve. He gets to cooking the audio dope to feed the people the real they deserve; he spits bars into oblivion with each hunger-driven record in this project. Many joints feel the wrath of his flow, “Perico Pie” & “Dillinger” are some of my favorites; he creates atomic energy in his voice and never fails to have you clutching your seats on the type of madness he brings to his lyrical arsenal. The heat of hell is raised throughout this project, not giving up on an ounce of light for these sucka-ass rappers to show face when he’s around. Atrocious poetry when his pen hits the pad, Intre sparks a deep passion for this shit, you may hear frustration, but I hear someone putting their heart out, like a soldier on the battlefield letting out a roar; the sound is so mighty that the world can listen to it and that symbolizes perfect for what Intre is doing on the album. One of his standout tracks on this project has to be “Motion” with him and Southside hoodlum, two different paths walked in lyrical style, but when they come together, they create something prominent and unknown. Seeing it before hearing it had my mind come up with conclusions of what it would sound like for me to go in a 180 once I actually played it. Intre devises something serious with this project; already flooding hell gates with devious bars and malicious wordplays, he becomes a grittier version of himself alongside his growth, which is a deadly combination. The underground scene surfaced on the plains at the level ground for people to witness the legendary effect that Intre brings to the scene, no longer just a conquer to Texas but in rap throughout the globe; his name rings bells and brings hip-hop to the scenery wherever he roams, an artist that deserves their flowers while they're still here to enjoy them, Intre we salute you.

After his album's release, Intre has found different avenues to promote the project, with him being seen on the UHHB, Just Rap, and Cheap Suits Podcast, and I'm sure many more will be planned in the future. We also have word that something else could be cooking up soon on his end, but we don’t want to spoil anything; make sure you remember where you heard it first. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the project yet, then we recommend you do it today and get someone on it, too.
