Mileena - Eve II (Single)

While browsing through social media yesterday evening, I came across a small preview of the latest release from Toronto native Mileena titled “Eve II,” where the mystified built-up of the production put me in a trance and had me unprepared to experience the angelic vocals of Mileena who creates this sense of passion & captivating nature in the mere seconds of the brief viewing. It didn’t take long for me to hear the entire record and be completely astonished by it, and then watching the video a few moments later, where both treatments were delivered so heavenly. It’s a ballad of pure mystery with a bit of enticing charm to it where I can see why many have already gravitated to the release.

Part two of Adam and Eve’s story is the basis for the release; it instantly intrigued me when hearing her words come out in a flourished manner and understood the description of the title. Anything you desire, she is on board to deliver for you; she doesn’t shy away from giving you the intimate details of the fantasy she can make happen for you. She hides in plain sight of her craving for him while still putting on a sane face. She confesses there isn’t anything she won’t do for you; even if it means scorching through the ends of the earth for you, she will. She softly sings her tale of desire into the record that mimics a divine sound lusting towards the production, then as swiftly as the mood grows, she feeds into this boombap medley towards the third verse. It catches you by surprise, but it’s one of the many reasons we enjoyed the release so much. She designs a delightful reign throughout the record that touches your heart and soul from start to finish. The visual is an amazing resemblance of the record; it perfectly translates to her words. It’s a beautiful tale that captures the essence in the viewing so gradually, which makes it a best-of-both-world scenario to enjoy visually and emotionally.

It’s a spectacular drop and one that has made us fans instantly. I highly recommend getting introduced to Mileena’s music by way of her latest video & single while enjoying it here and sharing it around on all social media avenues.
