Keunarene - Don’t Wait Until I Die (EP)

Coming across our timeline at the start of the month, we became newly introduced to artist Keunarene through the visualizer to her record “Ricochet,” which had us stopped in our tracks admiring the mellow aesthetic of the clip and her alluring vocals. After briefly consuming her melancholy sound, we did a bit of research and learned the single was from her recently released EP titled “Don’t Wait Until I Die.” The succession of the remaining tracks made this a promising project that we couldn’t pass up on getting our viewership introduced to such a talented artist.

The intro record explains the importance of the project’s title, where you never want to see the person you love perish before you get the chance to confess your love to them. No need to hide it anymore; her heart is not breakable at this point since it’s countlessly in battle. She’s learned through trials and tribulations of what shielding your emotions can do, which is why it’s perfect for you to show her how much she means to you. Her emotional brooding throughout the single is what makes her heart sparks throughout the project, and it’s something that pours over in the rest of the EP. “Ricochet,” of course, was the single that started the introduction of getting to know Keunarene; it sits perfectly as the second track, which paves an ethereal sound in the following release. “I Know A Place” is so mysterious from start to finish; the winding up of the track is a fantastic antidote to get you connected for the upcoming joints that flourish nicely in your listening experience. It’s a cataclysmic of wonderment in a lugubrious state where Keunarene’s vocals deliver a sensational placement in September that will surely fall over into the year's remaining months.

Keunarene has one official video, and a few visualizers on her Instagram of the rest of the singles, which have been getting their fair share of views which I’m sure will be seeing more throughout the next couple of days. If you’re not hip to Kenuarene yet, then we recommend getting started here by checking out her EP and sharing it around on all social media avenues.
