Blair - Fear (Video)

At the start of the week, I was introduced to the Detroit R&B songstress Blair by way of her video release to her single “Fear” off her debut EP, “Three Sides To Everything.” The video instantly made me a fan of her sound due to her alluring nature throughout the release, and the appeal of seductiveness she showcases throughout the viewing, which I’m sure could go head-to-head with the sun on who’s hotter. She spices up the drop with her mystified nature to be such an explosive vocal presence spreading a touch of harmony and funk to the mix. It’s full of sass and tranquil energy that becomes a complimented treat to begin getting familiar with her angelic talent.

Before you know it, she already has you in the palm of her hand. She’s noticing the grey sweats you’re wearing, which is already creating fantasies in her head, and it’s locked down like her thighs on the backside of your head. Blair hasn’t even touched you, but you already feel her; it gets you wondering if someone like her is real. She got you sweating like the devil in church; you’re going to fear her if you don’t fear anything else; she’s got temptation running through your mind creating so many grandeur things to experience. You can run, but you cannot hide; before you know it, you’re back in her palms, wondering how you got there, but she will know every single time. She’s a siren singing out her heart, waiting for a man to hear her calling, and once she gets it, their soul is snatched immediately, and the fear begins to sink in. The visual representation showcases her artistry and prowess at perfect timing to the record in the background; it’s incredible to see an artist shine so bright in a release that will surely string you along to listen to the remaining joints off her project.

The video dropped in the second week of September and has been accelerating with views since its release. It’s been gathering new listeners and fans to her musical movement, and I’m hoping it gathers some of our viewership in her direction as we wait for her next upcoming release.
