DVMA - Closer (Single)
The mistress of melodies, DVMA, recently released a new single in the second week of September titled “Closer,” in which the Brighton Beach songstress swoons us over with her latest ballad telling the listeners on how much closer she wants to be with her significant other. Her infectious chorus goes hand in hand with her melodic tendencies to ride out the beat with perfect harmony in her tone and keep us swaying back & forth. She accompanied the drop with a visual of the single where she’s seen mainly sporting a black & white body suit, the same one she’s donning on her single’s cover. It isn’t bizarre to see an artist drop two releases simultaneously like this, especially since they balance out getting a fair share of plays and views, making it a successful start to see the record shine throughout the month.
“This that fantasy, Mariah with the ODB, but both is me.”
DVMA asks if you can be a little closer with her; she feels like you’ve been closed off from her and is seeing what’s the cause behind it. Could a long talk be needed, or do you want to skip to the bedroom activities instead? Making an intimate session with you is never a tiring thing for her, especially since she’s finish counting up the racks of dead presidents, so if you want to recreate the scene in Wolf Of Wall Street with her on the stack of money, then she’s all for it. DVMA isn’t one to shy away with her sexual appeal, especially in the record; she’s making alluring gestures in your direction to heat the temperature for the night. This doesn’t have to be all work; you can have some playing time with her; she doesn’t want to lose the momentum she has with you for the moment. In the anchoring of the record, we hear DVMA begin her rap slaying that sounds so eminent pressed together with her euphony intro, which continues to showcase her versatile artistry. She even changes her attire in the video, which does a splendid job of mimicking the exact emotions in the record. It’s the best of both worlds when you come across a track like this that heavily influences the creativity of the video; DVMA, of course, is always an artist we always cherish a release from since she never delivers a dull moment in her craft.
This single is her fourth of the year, and no telling yet if it will be off an upcoming project. One can hope for sure, but I’m sure DVMA will follow up in the future with some announcements. In the meantime, we recommend checking out both the single & visual here while sharing it on all social media avenues.
