Stack Skrilla - No Kap (Video)

All praise to Jay Nice, who yesterday evening shared a clip on his IG story of Stack Skrilla, who we happened to be unfamiliar with but felt like this could be an artist to get behind. The initial clip he posted looked to promote an upcoming release from Skrilla dropping on September 16th, so we wondered if he had dropped anything recently to help us become a little more familiar with him before then, which luck happened to be on our side since he actually just released a visual at the top of the week. The video titled “No Kap” would serve as our introduction to his music which the viewing made us fan instantly since Stack is armed with lyrical ammunition and spraying it toward the head tops with combative force. His precision-based wordplays are some of the finest we’ve come across, and we knew we needed to share his latest work to get our viewership to notice his pedigree.

The production is cooked with a prominent boombap style by Yuno, who served us this harmonious sample for Stack to turn the beat into a feeding frenzy. More bars than Alcatraz and more potent with substance like that shit is sold on the street, Stack Skrilla makes being wavy look too easy, dreads flowing in the wind while his vocal cannon lets off a barrage of verses that will keep a fraile rapper indoors. In ain’t no stopping his caliber; Stack Skrilla made a video of him parading around his home turf just dishing out his skill set for our viewing; ain’t no crazy edits or jewelry are needed to show that this artist is shining, and art like this is deserved its proper appreciation.
