Krystall Poppin & Big Jade - Flavors (EP)

Last month, it was announced that Krystall Poppin & Big Jade would be joining forces to release a collaborative EP titled “Flavors,” at the same time, they dropped their first single titled “32 Flavors,” which was accompanied with a visual to give us a taste of what was to come next from the two. Weeks after having both record & visual in rotation which both exceeded in having substantial success, the 7-track project surfaced with many fans gravitating to the release for the weekend that continues to this very moment. Mixed with the sassy bravado from Krystall Poppin & the austere attitude from Big Jade, both femcees take turns delivering a bit of wit & sexiness in these series of tracks that will surely be your favorite joints leading into the summer.

Without skipping a beat, both ladies served up their needs for luxurious items and how expensive their taste is when it comes to obtaining them in the intro record titled “Prada Pucci.” Straight from the bottom to the top, both KP & Big Jade speak on the significance of their come up from seeing struggling days to now being on top. The fast-paced production solidifies both shining artists as an unstoppable force that continues to come forward the more you enter the release. Of course, the second track is the already-released “32 Flavors,” which is a rump-shaker making noise on the net. Many new & existing fans have been sharing their rendition of the single on IG, Twitter & TikTok, where I’m sure it’s only going up from here. The following upcoming joints, “Pystall Poppin & Sexy,” were personal highlights for me when I came across this EP initially. From seeing both artists at the beginning stages of their careers to now, you can see the growth expand in both these records. You get the notion that both this henny-sippin, cash-countin, tight body, finger-lickin money-getting ladies is on the grind. I can’t go hard as Krystall reciting that line, but it only shows that she’s flawlessly built like no other, and it only continues to shine brighter. The catchiness of the chorus in “Sexy” is my favorite thing about it, yet when KP shows her sensual side when it comes to the raps, it only gets better and better. “Walk It” & “Stretch” are standout records for Big Jade which she annihilates with a 90’s inspired sound & a menacing rhyme scheme that is fierce. Finishing up the album is the outro record titled “Love,” featuring the legendary Don Ke, where he plasters on his signature style to the record where you hear KP add a little zest to the track and Big Jade anchoring it to the finish line for a project that is must-hear for the hottest season of the year especially here in Texas.

I honestly enjoyed this project very much and to see Krystall Poppin & Big Jade come together with great chemistry to the tracks set it off to be a pinnacle point from them in the year that will surely see its deserved respect and support throughout the year.
