Shogun V feat Danny Ali - Vivid (Video)
IG advertising has been on fire this week as another introduction happened yesterday evening when we came across California-based artist Shogun V & his latest video titled “Vivid.” It immediately caught my attention since I loved the distinctive aesthetic of the visual, including the wavy vocals delivered by Shogun and his feature for the record, Danny Ali. Doing some research while writing the review for the video, I learned that the track was off his 2021 album “Apocalypse,” which is a gem in its own glory, and I recommend diving into it after getting familiar with Shogun through this release.
His vision is a bit more vivid than most of his opposition; you would think the same if you were seeing success come in waves like he is. Speaking on his winning streak, he’s got a plethora of women by his side, keeping him company in the morning and evenings.
“Got your bitty in my bed exploring fetishes, told her delete all the photos, keep no evidence.”
That bar is a sick line, and it’s much sicker for the man whose lady is finding new things she enjoys in the bedroom with another man. Slicked and style with witty rhymes, Shogun is an excellent storyteller when it comes to the more eccentric lines, and Danny Ali follows with a different shift in pace but is accessible to get behind. Getting no love from the place where you live is something that will happen 100% of the time, instead of greeting with praise on your achievements that want to knock you out of the race and take the spot. Yet just like Danny Ali, your going to need an army to get him off the block; he’s not here for the handouts or new friends. He got the team with him that came up with him, and that’s all he needs. Both emcees understand the concept of living it instead of speaking about it; they wanted their goals to be real, so they made it happen; you can live life vividly if you stick to winning instead of losing.
I saw that earlier in the year Shogun V dropped a new single, which could be mean that more is suited to drop in the next upcoming months. I'm definitely keeping him close on our radar to see more releases come our way in the near future. Get familiar with Shogun V here by checking out his latest video and sharing it around on all social media platforms.
