RawDaBoi - Where We Goin (Video)

In the middle of last week, RawDaBoi gave track six off his EP “2016,” the visual treatment where he dived in deep to his ballad “Where We Goin.” The record has him asking the question to the women with him for the night on what their plan is to end this exotic fling for the day. It’s a nice serenading number that will draw you into the alluring nature of the record by having you shake your hips while your feet are moving from side to side. 

He doesn’t know the route ahead, but with you by his side, he’s okay with the direction leading them to a mysterious beyond. He’s asking for the sake of returning, but while in your presence, he doesn’t know if he even wants to go back to this existence before you. The catchy chorus is made with the bravado of an artist who’s looking to reach captivating heights, with a rush of euphoric emotions while the record is spinning. RawDaBoi’s feverish vocals are lighting up the room with this ballad; he understands the temperature rises the more their night leads into intimacy and temptation. On the dance floor, she’s revealing much of herself she’s kept secret, and he wants to keep it all for himself at the end of the night but needs to know the location of where she wants to go with him. The visual is also as impenetrable as the track is since it showcases many shots of RawDaBoi in his element while creating a story arc in the background that follows very well with the record’s intensity. It’s a win-win scenario for RawDaBoi, who has a record that will mesmerize you from start to finish with an enticing video to go along with it in building a successful release for him that’s excelling at substantial levels. 

I know his “2016” project dropped back in February, but I implore you to go back and give it a listen since it perfectly introduces RawDaBoi’s talent and craft in a way that will make you an instant fan.
