Danyo G - Tired Of Being Broke, Vol. 2 (EP)

The 2nd installment in Danyo G's "Tired Of Being Broke" series showcases the MC even fiercer than before. He's coming for what's his by all means necessary. His flow on the intro is as tidal wavy as one can get & question is that a fucking recorder whistling in the background of this production cause whatever the instrument may be, it is an excellent touch. In honestly, it really makes the record stand out &, of course, the content that he's no slouch. It's heavy on the skill but concise in what he's getting across because he wants you to heed everything he's saying, being that it's real life and he's doing the things he raps about.

Already off the bat, I'm thoroughly impressed; if ProdByPSO production is this good, then imagine everything else. Well, we don't need to cause we are already gliding through the rest. In "Don't Need Ya," he details his struggles with fighting against the demons that have been tearing away at him. Honestly, he doesn't need that kind of negativity in his life; he'd much rather be getting to the money. Still, in return, he's intuitive enough to understand that now that he's actually in a much better financial position. Those same people he may have needed at certain points in his life are all going to come crawling back talking about they need a little something. Still, what he's offering might not be to their liking, plus I love the high pitch he does with the hook cause it's almost like he's mocking these kinds of people. It's always impressive when people can play with their voice & show off that vocal range.

He just continues to get them "Racks In," & maybe if you act right, you too can tap in cause he ain't going to act like he doesn't notice all the staring eyes & whispers saying, "look girl, that's him, the guy I was telling you about with all the racks!". Soon enough, she's going to be sucking him up like "Dracula," & now this number right here has the portentous vibe to it. It has all the trap elements to make it a banger, but all the chimes make it feel like darkness is falling upon us. If anything, it represents that he's here to stay, immortal unlike all these mortal foes of his who steadily be capping like "Really." He was doing those things you claim you are doing & better at that so, maybe after this, they're the ones who wound up tired of being broke but refuse to do a thing about it while he continues to rake in more dough than before.
