Litgalaxy214 - Stmt. (Album)

If you aren't familiar with the Heart Break Records family, then you know all too well that they are probably the most prolific syndicate out of San Antonio & one of their leading artists is none other than Litgalaxy214. For those that don't know, not only is he Apollo Black's right-hand man, but he is also one of the most enlightening souls to bless the mic. A killer MC whenever he so pleases but a teacher more than anything. He's always going to rap circles around lesser thans, spread his wisdom & keep in mind that it's all free game; you should be so grateful for his generosity. That's precisely what we get off rip with the smooth.manny assisted "Entity." A dizzyingly infectious banger that finds both MCs almost sparring with one another, it's a whimsically fantastic start to this record.

On "Curious Mind," Lit does something interesting that I can't say I've really heard done & that's to have Apollo & manny take the lead on the verses while he only flexes his skill as a vocalist. I've always admired Lit's voice; he just has the right voice to do what he does. It's easily one of Apollo's most powerful verses & manny delivering another right after scathing the 1st track. It's reflective storytelling at its finest that only continues on "Ingest" as well. On "Burn One," he & Apollo link back up to ponder on all the work they've done thus far to get to this point in their respective junctures & the work they're so dedicated to continuing putting in to reach an even better position.

Lit is also a powerful crooner, as shown thus far but the most on "Near," probably the best record out of these 9, which finds Lit getting lost in a trance of his infatuation of them. jC.tranquility then comes through to assure us that she, just like him, will put in that work no matter what anyone has to say about it. They've both been through a lot in life thus far, so why would they put a stop to that to hear whatever negativity you may have to spew? They wouldn't. The game may be crooked, but he's going to always make sure it's "Tilted" in his favor. He has too much "Wisdom" left to spread to anyone willing to listen & heed his truth which on "Stmt," it’s safe to say that he's crafted a new opus with this one. It's an insightful release both into him as a being & to what he's learned so far in life. It's nothing but free guidance throughout, so I advise you to take it all in cause game like this don't always come free.
