KCG Josh & Southside Hoodlum - Texas Boys Freestyle (Video)
Yesterday afternoon it was announced that Southside Hoodlum & KCG Josh would be releasing a visual titled "Texas Boys Freestyle" later in the day that had fans raving until the video drop that instantly got 2K views in the munites since it surfaced. Mainly because we got the codeine potent vocals of Southside Hoodlum & the street-certified raps of KCG Josh over Big Tex Johnny production where he sampled the great Black Rob's hit single "Woah." It's all laced together nicely with Ace The Shooter behind the lens and, of course, Donthypeme on the edits to bring forth a monumental release that should see at least 100K views by the end of next week.
Drop top at the MS Express; you can catch Southside Hoodlum pop-trucking with KCG Josh on the passenger side in the whip. Both these artists hold a certain type of caliber to their prominent flows, and it gets displayed here on how much they both can create a grandeur record when linked together. Southside is up first, double cupped with the raps supplying enough rounds for the hater like the clip on his choppa. He's chopping up these lines like the rocks in his kitchen and serving up heaps of the bundles like his wordplays with deliverance. He's firing up the flow like the burners on the stove, and he does this all with his signature Southside energy taking over the record, and next is the globe. KCG Josh wastes no time explaining the craft that's cooking up in his kitchen; ain't nothing you can eat in there but bet there's going to be cheese collecting when they make a sale. Girls keep hitting his lines and there looking for some company, but he keeps it player, yet she's still hung up on his loving. Ain't nothing to test here, so don't think you can try KC's gangster; he's not the one to play with, so if you value your life, then keep it stepping. He's the main attraction in the streets, but his plug is the real MVP, and the shoutout he gives him definitely shows his appreciation to the grind and why he's a hustler on motivational trips. He's lethal with the rhymes, and it's getting better with each line he finishes, and being the anchor of the track sets the bar. Even if the record weren't sampled by Black Rob, you'd still be saying Woah, both Hood & Josh put on for the track, and it's clear as day that these two on a record is provide street gems & pressure being applied.
I wonder where this single will end up; this is KCG Josh's second single of the year, and no telling yet if he has a project in the works. If so, then we can t wait to see what's next from him, and if this recent joint is any indication of it, then we're anticipating a massive release from him. Until more is announced, be sure to continue running up the views on the visual and make sure to share it around on all social media avenues.
