Sauvi The Coole$t - $tAY COOL (Album)
Man, there's just something about this top-down music, Sauvi the Coole$t is just the latest to further my appreciation for this style. I can tell right off the bat that we're in for some nice cruise control music coupled with some poignant reflecting & hustler talk. He lets you know where he's from right away, where he resides & how he's plotting with his people to put his city on. He's not complacent with where he's at in life but is basking in the fruits of his labor cause he ponders when he's never had shit; now he can't seem to "Get Enough" blessings, so why hit the brakes now? Let's just keep cruising down memory lane, creating new ones along the way.
Of course, we can't have an album like this without Banco Ray, who is the absolute definition of "Consistency," Sauvi is no different; these gentlemen ain't settling for less than their worth. They're carving out their own way, not waiting for others to do it for them; even when life gets rough, they keep their head high in the fields & stay putting in work. That's dedication & it's possible to get like them; you just gotta do what you love every day & the reward will be greater & the fake will be left with no choice but to play "Cetchup," though they'll probably always fall so far behind.
He's aiming "4 A Mill" & will attain it by any means necessary. This beat is so hyphy & haunting like they're moving through the night putting in that work. His paper is more than up as a result, but he's still working towards his goal. Most people grow complacent, therefore stagnant & remain in the same tax bracket their whole life instead of living up to their potential, and they're worth it; it could never be Sauvi or Th3Boytc. Still, as far as life for him, "It's Good," he can't complain. They don't call him the coolest for nothing; he's just about his business. No time for the kid games; he's trying to get "Paid In Full" till; he's "Too Paid." He's just cut from a "Different Cloth," not everybody is capable of doing what he did, making it out the "Hard Times," but I'm sure his work here will have you rethinking your conditioning & follow in his footsteps & I'm sure there are still hard times ahead. Still, Suavi won't let them slow his roll.
